Why do this at the same time we are debating individuals all-time? Wouldn't it be better when that ends?

My own personal list would look something like this:

1. Kareem
2. Wilt
3. Hakeem
4. Shaq
5. Russell
6. Moses
7. Robinson
8. Walton
9. Ewing
10. Reed
------------------
11. Cowens
12. Thurmond
13. Hayes
14. Dwight
15. Parish

This position is one of the harder ones to judge because it's so top heavy, but there's not a huge difference between guys 1-5, and there are seven guys who are arguably top 15 all-time caliber players. But after that there's a significant dropoff, and there are like 10-15 guys who you could rank in any possible order based on so many different factors.

Different list altogether. I think Jeffy started this around the same time Valade started his experiment.

Alonzo?

That's fair. Totally forgot about Zo. I'd probably put him somewhere around 13-16. The position is just totally stacked historically.

The shaq versus hakeem debate is a good one. I personally would have shaq higher, but can't go wrong with hakeem either.

I move Robinson down but otherwise like your list

Robinson is WAY too high. He didn't have that kind of impact on the game.

Dwight over Ewing?

I wouldn't put Robinson over Moses, but otherwise, I think 7th is perfect for him. I fail to see how he "didn't have that kind of impact on the game." Dude was a 9-time All-NBA, 7-time All-Defensive guy who won an MVP, won a DPOY award and consistently led his team to 50+ wins every season while posting insane stats. Aside from Kareem, Wilt, Hakeem, Shaq, Russell and Moses, let's hear a good case for anyone else to go ahead of Robinson.
