Right now the East is

1. Toronto 42-17
2. Boston 43-19 0.5 games back
3. Cleveland 36-24 6.5 games back
4. Washington 36-25 7.0 games back
5. Indiana 34-26 8.5 games back
6. Milwaukee 33-27 9.5 games back
7. Philadelphia 32-27 10.0 games back
8. Miami 32-29 11.0 games back
9. Detroit 28-32 14.5 games back
10. Charlotte 28-33 15.0 games back

Toronto has 23 games left, 12/11 Home/Road. 12 games against teams over .500, 11 under. I'll say Toronto goes 17-6 the rest of the way.

Boston has 20 games left, 8/12 Home/Road. 12 games against teams over .500, 8 under. I'll say Boston goes 7-13 the rest of the way.

Cleveland has 22 games left, 11/11 Home/Road. 12 games against teams over .500, 10 under. I'll say Cleveland goes 15-7 the rest of the way

Washington has 21 games left, 12/9 Home/Road. 15 games against teams over .500, 6 under. I'll say Washington goes 11-10 the rest of the way.

Indiana has 22 games left, 9/13 Home/Road. 16 games against teams over .500, 6 under. I'll say Indiana goes 9-13 the rest of the way

Milwaukee has 22 games left, 10/12 Home/Road. 12 games against teams over .500, 10 under. I'll say Milwaukee goes 12-10 the rest of the way.

Philadelphia has 23 games left, 12/11 Home/Road. 8 games against teams over .500, 15 under. I'll say Philadelphia goes 14-9 the rest of the way.

Miami has 21 games left, 13/8 Home/Road. 10 games against teams over .500, 11 under. I'll say Miami goes 13-8 the rest of the way.

Detroit has 22 games left, 9/13 Home/Road. 11 games against teams over .500, 11 under. I'll say Detroit goes 11-11 the rest of the way.

Charlotte has 21 games left, 8/13 Home/Road. 10 games against teams over .500, 11 under. I'll say Charlotte goes 10-11 the rest of the way.

That would make the final standings,

1. Toronto 59-23
2. Cleveland 51-31
3. Boston 50-32
4. Washington 47-35
5. Philadelphia 46-36
6. Miami 45-37
7. Milwaukee 45-37
8. Indiana 43-39
9. Detroit 39-43
10. Charlotte 38-44

What do you think the final standings will be?

I want the cavs. Only downside is playing 8 on 5 all game. Not a team I'm afraid of in the east.

As in head to head? Because currently the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th seeds for the West have better records than their Eastern counterparts (the only one who doesn't is the 4th seeded teams, which have identical records).

The West currently has 10 teams with winning records, the East has 8.

the west goes 2 teams deeper and has the better top 2 seeds but both top 2 seeds havent hit 20 L's yet. Like the wolves are in 3rd and have 26 losses and the Sixers are in 7th with 27 losses.

I still think that's a long shot. I see 6 being the highest. Possibly a 5 if we play lights out down the stretch. But games like last night, we have to win. I see a 6 or 7 seed.

i dont see how being 2 games behind the Wiz for 4th and 3.5 behind the Cavs (we face off tomorrow ) is a longshot. we are right in thick of it and still have games in hands on everyone in front of us.

I can see Irving leading his young rookie team to 55 wins. They have 43 already. Game 7 in Boston?

Bucks and Sixers are going to be wild cards. Two tough teams with amazing/unique players. One of these teams going up against the Cavs will be a must watch series.

1. Boston
2. Toronto
3. Wizards
4. CAvs
5. Bucks
6. Sixers
7. Pacers
8. Detroit
