Hate when these things are always mentioned. I think if a person has the guts to shell out their hard earned (already taxed) money to pursue the risk of earning more, they should keep all of it. Who covers them when they lose? There is no assurance of retrieval when lost but people want handouts when something is won. Makes me sick that these greedy a**holes get what they want.

There's zero logic in the NBA getting 1% of betting action, and a ton of conflicts. They're not facilitating the betting, not putting up the money

Kinda like the movie Blue Chips when that kid got a couple turnovers to cover the points spread. If players start fixing games. Man NBA be lame.

lol, please

Well said.

As excited for, and as much as I feel it's a right to exercise, that being sports betting, I am 110% against the NBA getting a cut in any way. The conflict of interest be damned - YOU DON'T NEED THE PROFIT.

in no universe would this ever happen. theyre not getting a cut, no better is gonna risk double juice per bet when they can just stick with their offshore or illegal book for normal rates.

1% cut lmfao. Go **** yourself. Why would they ever get a cut? They're already benefitting massively due to sports betting, and that only increases if it goes national.
