Also, Cavs give up so many 3s.

Far from ideal, but even farther from impossible. He's been doing it his whole life and Kevin Martin did it his whole career. He's a very smart player, he'll make the adjustment and find his confidence. People are VERY eager to rip on Ball, but the kid will be good. He's a true ball player who understands the game at a higher level than a ton of vets. It will take him time to iron out the kinks, but it is plain as day that this kid will have success in the league.

I've seen quite a few ex-players, current analysts, and former analysts all say the same thing about it. Force him right, that means he has to pull the ball back to the left and gives you the steal opportunity. Then when hes doing that he has to contort to square up his shoulders to the basket when you shoot like that or you need to release it really early.

Kevin Martin's shot was similar, but it was released much higher and a little more centered. He also wasn't relied on to be the primary ball handler and offensive initiator.

What Bell could really use is a second ball handler on the court for when they get into the half court. But what I'm seeing right now is he tends to stand around when that happens. He needs to learn when he's off ball to move and make himself available.

Don't know if it's just me because I've only seen Lebron's 50+ point game and this one this year, but he looks like he's working in the post more than he ever has. And he looks better there too. I think I might like late career Lebron better than I did any other version.

Sometimes I forget what a choker Harden can be. Rox got lucky tonight. Really, really bad 4th.

To Harden's credit though he got no rest. That's on D'Antoni.

Yeah, he was bad at the end. But the entire Rockets team aside from Capela and Tucker was one big dumpster fire in that quarter. D'Antoni should have let Harden rest, even if it was just for a minute or two.

The Rockets really need to get Paul back. And they really could have used Mbah a Moute tonight as well. He's kind of been running their offense with the 2nd unit, so I'm guessing with him out, D'Antoni didn't want Bobby ****ing Brown getting minutes. And I don't blame him. The only reason Brown is on the team is because he's Harden's friend.

Nuggets vs. Thunder is being officiated horribly. All the calls are going against the Nuggets. 3 of their starters have 2 fouls, whereas only Roberson has 2 on the Thunder. Jokic has 3 fouls. Two of them were just garbage. A player of his caliber has to get more respect from the officials.

I think he's somewhat wrong.

It's not that Simmons was called for fouls. Those happen. The issue is that we only have 2 PG's playing right now (Fultz and Bayless are out) so when one gets in foul trouble the other one has to play a little more conservative to avoid the trouble. Then we start giving up easy buckets, they aren't as aggressive on offense.

There was really only one that I think was quite ticky tack, and that was when Ben was driving, WCS stuck his arm out, Ben did the Harden pulling the ball under and going up, and they called Ben for hooking. It was quite the frustrating call because it's one of those either call a defensive foul or no call.

Let's not overlook that, to lose by four, Jeff Green had to have his best game in years and probably the best game I've ever actually seen him play. Those anomalies go both ways, dude.

I had a sneaky suspicion that Fox would be the best point guard out of this draft class (or at least better than Ball and Fultz), and nothing that has happened this season has proved me wrong. I don't think his ceiling is as high as those guys, but his floor is insanely high. Good moment for him last night.

"I know where I want to retire ultimately and I know where I want to win a championship," Harden said.

I'm sure having said that, if Lebron was available Harden would be like...

"Nah Daryl. I don't want to upgrade our team by adding the top player of our generation."

Mmm.... I'm not saying that Green can't be better than he's been thus far with Cleveland (at least prior to last night). But that dude is not the same basketball player he was once by a long shot. He topped 20 points in a game ONCE last season! And that was on a bad Orlando team that needed the scoring. Prior to last night, the last time he topped 25 points in a game was in January 2016. There's a reason he was signed so cheap and nobody was impressed when the Cavs signed him this offseason.

I'd rather watch a lot of those other tandems too but exciting is subjective. I actually haven't seen Sacratomato this year so I can't comment much but I did think Buddy was going a legit scoring 2 out of college. we'll see. I also loved watching Diaw. They paid my man, the real Bogdanovich 12 million per. I guess they want to see what they have with that investment. They still have Buddy on a cheap rookie deal so I guess they are taking it from there. But warfelg does have a point, Buddy should be good enough to overcome those factors if he is a supposed young stud prospect.

I'll put it this way....Sacramento is low on my League Pass watch list. That duo is still a little too sloppy to be exciting to me.

It's kinda like The Process era Sixers. They played fast which lead to lots of exciting moments, but sitting through every possession was painful thanks to turnovers, bad shots, and just stupid careless decisions.

Okay guys, the reason why Fox is not starting is George Hill who was paid to be and should be while Fox acclimate himself as a pro off the bench with less pressure and fanfare. If they didn't get GH, I am most certain he would be the starter. Buddy will be Fox future backcourt mate which is why they should start playing as a duo now. Nothing wrong with coming off the bench as he now has a chance to win the 6th man award as well being part of the best 2nd unit in the league.

I think most people recognize that Capela is a very valuable player, but I do think they underestimate him in terms of having an impact on this Rockets team. People always look at the three pointers, but Capela's progression and efficiency can become a major x-factor for the Rockets. A lot of people think that Paul won't fit with the Rockets, but even if that's true, I think he and Capela will have great chemistry and will be something to watch. Especially if Capela can get his minutes up. He's only averaging 25 minutes per game, which is only 21st most of Centers.

Wall and Beal? Maybe Houston when Paul comes back? Iím probably missing 1 or 2 more but not many. No way near a stupid question. Letís here the 20 this dude claims there to be.

In no particular order, here are 16 back court duos I would unquestionably rather have this season than Hield and Fox:

1. Harden and Gordon (soon to be Harden and Paul)
2. Curry and Thompson (as mentioned)
3. Wall and Beal
4. Lillard and McCollum
5. Lowry and DeRozan
6. Irving and Brown
7. Simmons and Redick
8. Dragic and Waiters
9. Bledsoe and Brogdon
10. Teague and Butler
11. Walker and Lamb
12. Conley and Evans
13. Jackson and Bradley
14. Collison and Oladipo
15. Isaiah Thomas and JR Smith / Iman Shumpert / Dwyane Wade
16. Westbrook and [insert any SG here]

Here are four more that are at least debatable:
17. Rubio and Hood/Mitchell
18. Beverly and Williams
19. Russell and Crabbe
20. Smith and Matthews

You guys act as if Hield and Fox are some star level back court duo, but they average a combined 24 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds a game right now together. There are some guys on this list who easily do that themselves, and pretty much every single duo listed is capable of superior production than that.

Maybe in 2-4 years, it will be a different conversation. But right now, those guys are really, really low on the list of best back courts in the league. And you're dreaming if you suggest otherwise.
