Good slate tonight - and a World Series game.

Pacers/Thunder will be interesting. Oladipo and Sabonis look like free men out there and they're crushing it for Indiana.

Rox/Philly could be fun, Wiz/Lakers is worth checking out a little for Wall and Lonzo, and Raps/Warriors should be a good game.

Big game for the Cavs. They need to sweep this season series.

Agreed. HUGE game. No Wade tonight though. Shumpert is gonna have to step up.

Nets have played Indiana, Atlanta, and Orlando x2. Guess we'll see if their offense is the real deal (they played at a fast pace last year but it wasn't THIS potent).

Shump has been the only guy on the team driving me nuts. He looks like a crackhead out there too lol. Hopefully they crush their spirits tonight and they fall off a little going forward.

First part doesn't matter too much over/under wise (offense gets worse on average, but so does the D), but yeah if Russell is out then that changes things. I'd take Cleveland -7.5 against the team whose offense will be ran by Spencer Dinwiddie (no clue who his backup will be).

I see, I read that wrong thought you were going for under. It does change a lot if Dlo is indeed out.

Looks like HandsOnWheel got the exact line but generally an over-under line is -110 which means $100 pays ~$190 (90 profit). A $110 bet pays exactly $100. Wouldn't bother though with D-Lo out. Much more of a crapshoot on how this game will play out (and frankly could/should be a beatdown and then you're dealing with garbage time minutes).

Thanks!

I'm not a big fan of parlays, but you can get it to around -115 if you link it M/L with the Cavs. I'm gonna chill at the house and skip the bets again today myself, but I do like that.

Foul trouble, turnovers and complacency offensively (just claps for the ball and looks for ISO jumpers way too often) are Embiid's 3 glaring weaknesses.

It's like our entire team is just moving underwater. 0 effort. We don't have 20 superstars on our team so if the opponent is bringing it and we're lackadaisical they'll win.

WaDe03
10-25-2017, 09:05 PM
Crowder needs to be involved a lot more. I would almost say start Korver over JR but I like Korver being out there with Wade in that 2nd unit.

Vee-Rex
10-25-2017, 09:09 PM
Honestly... we just don't have a 2nd star. Love is a non-factor. And we have no one that can drive in from the perimeter (Lebron and everyone else is so slow). We're the oldest team in the league and it shows.

zn23
10-25-2017, 09:11 PM
So many things going wrong with the Nuggets this year... I don't think it's fixable unless Millsap starts playing like he's part of team instead of isolating and trying to dribble between defenders. Murray has been awful all year. Wilson Chandler clearly doesn't want to be in Denver.

WaDe03
10-25-2017, 09:13 PM
Just looks like a lack of effort to me. The league is basically gift wrapping the Cavs a 3 game lead at worst with this opening schedule, the Nets pick is important and they just don't care.

This team played with far more fire and hustle before we won a championship.

Philly had an 8 point lead with less than 2 minutes to go, might lose this one to a buzzer beater though.

Embiid needs to compose himself a lot more on the defensive end. He's going to get himself hurt again.

They're destroying them right now as it is lol. Unfortunately, I got used to this type of effort with the Miami big 3 days but forgot how annoying it is. You would think with all the new pieces they would try to hit the ground running to start the season and win some games and get the confidence up. That's not the case at all. Hell maybe if they look dominant it makes the FO want to move the Nets pick even more to make their chances of winning even better.

Frye is a good 3 and D specialist for spurt while Calderon is a few steps too slow to run the point as a starter but okay as a backup. They should have kept Kay instead:(

Lmao! JR is ****ing terrible. Don't ever want to hear him crying about losing his spot if it happens again.

Also lmao at the Cavs just walking back after his miss and letting the Nets run out. Let's just kill the Nets pick value though.

Idk about Love or Lue.

The league is setting the Cavs up to run away with the East from the start but they don't want it.

Also it's very easy to throw the ball off the front of the rim, idk how guys mess that up all the time.

Cavs got what they deserved though, you want to rest then blow these teams full of scrubs out and sit out the 4th instead of playing all game with no effort except for the last 5 minutes.

I have less of a problem with Millsap because he has been fine and hasnít really played with Jokic. Chandler is terrible. Barton isnít handling the second unit. Our PGs are not impressive to start the year.

Yeah but being in the East and having a ton of new players the chemistry can be worked out.

Being out west and really only adding one player and the way we are losing with a ridiculous amount of turnovers and playing soft we really may be on the outside looking in. Malone will be on the hot seat real quick, even though itís not him. Not saying he doesnít deserve blame but this team needs a culture change.

Scary for the league that Curry lives at the line now.

One of the few knocks on him, and he's been consistently getting to the line this season. He's always had a great FT percentage too, so he's definitely even more dangerous now. If he keeps this up, I don't see how he's not an MVP candidate as midway through the season.

Why would you sit Lonzo Ball when he only has two fouls before halftime? I'd understand sitting him with 3, but he strikes me as a smart player. We all know it's bigger guys that are prone to piling fouls early. Tyson Chandler had 3 fouls in one blink in the Suns/Lakers game. I just don't understand sitting Lonzo, probably killed his rhythm. He needs to learn how to play smart. If they keep sitting him, he'll never learn how to play defense with discretion *on* the court.

Also, whatever Coach Pop told Aldridge in their 1-on-1 meeting WORKED. I actually saw some fire in him in that close win over the Raptors, shoving Ibaka. How many times has he scored 20 so far? 30 tonight, wow.

But no to sitting Lonzo! Walton already got criticized for his Game 1 decisions, sitting Lonzo and then the team went down even more. Luckily Lakers ain't down much, despite losing that scoring battle in the 2nd.

yea that is why i said the past 2 games.. this game and last... He has been meh except for the suns game... the suns game he was great. He is holding john wall down a bit when he is actually on him but when he goes to the bench the lakers score easier and are still able to lock down wall lol... wall is ******** the bed hard after talking that ****.

One of the few knocks on him, and he's been consistently getting to the line this season. He's always had a great FT percentage too, so he's definitely even more dangerous now. If he keeps this up, I don't see how he's not an MVP candidate as midway through the season.

Yeah, now his only weakness is his 3pt shooting

"Great" FT percentage might even be an understatement. One of only 3 (Kerr and Price) to be >90% career, and he hasn't missed yet on 10 attempts a game this year lol.

None of what you said really matters. Wizards talked trash. All Lavar said was Lonzo wasn't losing to the Wizards. Gortat and Wall took it way too serious and then came up short. Real short. I'm starting to wonder if Wall is even the best player on his team. Bradley Beal might be the best right now. I said the same in another thread. The contending teams are still figuring out how to gel and bad teams are going to be able to sneak some wins in. It'll take about 30 games before we finally start seeing the contenders stand out. Right now is just an experiment.

I can agree with some of that, but at the same time though i think guys are getting sick of this. LaVar is a joke. Yeah at the beginning this stuff was funny and everyone had a good laugh. But now its getting to point where its getting old. And ESPN isn't helping by interviewing the guy. But truly, if he now gets to the line say 8+ times a game this year (he gained strength so it is probably a conscious decision as he is constantly seeking contact), then the only average part of his scoring ability just became the best in the NBA at that as well. That's a pretty scary proposition.
