The Warriors ... or not. They have had bad losses early or been dominant for a record number of games. They seems to like long runs of wins and occasionally not showing up for games (they didn't show up for 2 games in the playoffs and thanks to Kawhi's ankle only lost 1 of them). It could be either one this year too.

I reckon the Thunder may start hot out the gate. Rockets are very streaky, but they could go undefeated for a while possibly. Just depends. Lots of factors. Even the Bulls beat the Cavs on opening night in Cleveland. Spurs could also be strong early, but depends on what strategy they're going for this season. Pop might play the youngins more, which could mean growing pains and we still don't know the real status of Parker & Kawhi. Nuggets and Wolves, maybe.

They can easily puke up a game. I have no idea how they'll play ... they've been mostly sleep walking through the preseason.

If the Cavs can beat the C's on opening night, they have a pretty easy schedule until Houston on Nov 9th.

Magic
Bulls
Nets
Knicks
Pacers
Hawks

Also play some good teams in Milwaukee and Washington though, so who knows.

Golden State Warriors. Has to be. If there was a second choice, i'd go Thunder.

I'll take Golden State with a nine-game win streak. They go on a three-game road trip games 8-10. They'll pull a close one out in San Antonio Nov. 2, and lose Nov. 4 in Denver.

We play the Warriors on opening night so ummmmm.....Hey, that's a shootout. We all know THAT. In theory, the Rockets could win. Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson are capable of hitting anything from anywhere.

Bucks schedule looks pretty brutal in the early goings.
