I've updated the Original Post, to make it easier to navigate. The post was to bulky with way to many links.

So I just separated it into two play list (One for Kidd, One for Nash). And listed the games under

Can't wait to go down memory lane but there have been better performances in defeat

I've updated the playlist, so now it goes in order of the dates the games happen.

For the Nash playlist it starts off with the (30/11/5) game vs Sacramento in 2003, and ends with the (33/10) game vs Spurs in 2010.

For the Kidd playlist it starts with the (22/16/10) game vs the Lakers in 2000, and ends with the (23/14/13) game vs the Cavs in 2007.

I think this will make it easier to follow, rather than the playlist skipping around years.

Both makes their teammates better but I have to go with Nash as he is a much better perimeter scorer with great range and more clutch which is key for me

Thanks, figured the links were making the post a bit blouted and hard to navigate.

It's always amazing to me that he became such a consistant shooter later in his career, when that was really his biggest weakness during his prime.

He was amazing to watch. He had so much control over the game without putting up monster #s. In another thread I've come out against the idea of KG being a top 20 all time player and i think his across the board stats with the T-Wolves is what makes him overrated. Kidd is the exact opposite. If any players stat line said less about how much he influenced the game I don't know who it was.

I always felt like he knew exactly what speed the team needed to play at, to attack the weaknesses of the defense

Nice! I've been arguing that Steve Nash is one of the most overrated players for years because I'm comparing him to other players who have and haven't won two MVPs... but I still love his game, and think he was one of the funnest players to watch. Modelled a ton of my game after his own, especially as I got older and lost a step.

Well in general I was much more suprised by his 2nd mvp than his first.

His 1st was very much what they look for.. a star player leading hia team to a turnaround and a high record

While I didn't think that he should win either year, I was less surprised by his second year than his first. First year he wasn't even the best player on the team, that was Stoudmire. Not to mention he had Shawn Marion and Joe Johnson, two players I've always felt were super underrated. Inflated stats due to that offense, and Iverson had 31 points and 8 assist that year.

Giving it to him when he didn't deserve it the prior year kind of forced them to give it to him after Stat went down and Joe left. 16 and 12 are such bad numbers for an MVP. But the MVP award has always been a political statement by the league. I was also mad when Derrick Rose won his. No way he deserved that.

I disagree about Stat being the best player.. I think all the advanced stats support Nash being the most impactful player on that squad.

I don't think Raw numbers do point guards like Kidd or Nash justice. Nash was 50/40/90 efficent that season and was responsible for a ridicolus amount of his team's buckets. His offensive advanced stats were historic, not to mention the turnaround in team record fuffiled the narrative purpose the voters look for as well.
