CP3 is without a doubt the best Clipper ever but has he been there long enough, has he accomplished enough? Does it depend on the franchise, would your team retire his number if he had the same resume for your squad?

With Blake resigning he will likely shatter the scoring records and potentially vault up in the REB-AST department unless the team blows it up, does that put him up above a guy he was never better than?

Only thing Blake is going to go down as in clipper land is the worse contract ever

He won't play 200 games over the next 5 years

Do the Clippers have any retired jerseys?

Was Chris Paul around long enough to become a legend for them? I mean they never got past the second round, but have the Clippers ever gotten past the second round lol?

I don't think so. Didn't accomplish enough. Maybe with 1 WCF appearance. Even Blake needs to do more to get his jersey retired. He could go down as the worst contract ever like someone else here said. If that happens it wouldn't be enough imo. If he plays well the next 5 years he should have his jersey retired. Especially if he retires as a Clipper. DJ also has a chance at getting his jersey retired if he re-signs next summer.

Lmao at the DJ comment. Blake will never go down as the worst contact, not close, see Eddy Curry.

If Elton Brand didn't, CP3 shouldn't.
Blake likely will though.
