No cap or figures in play. Sorry, just gets too crazy because this includes all eras.

All selected players must have spent at least 3 seasons on your team to be eligible.

I'll start:

Curry - Hardaway
Klay - Livingston
Barry - Mullin
Green - Lee
Wilt - Bol

GREATNESS ONE

I actually do like the Lakers in this poll. Although Miami is looking pretty good as well.

Attempting not to be bias, Id still say the Warriors are top 5 at least though

I think it would be hard for anybody to top a team the Lakers could put together top to bottom. Maybe the Celtics....

Magic Johnson
Shaq O'Neal
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Kobe Bryant
Jerry West
Wilt Chamberlain
Elgin Baylor
James Worthy
George Mikan

Then take your pick of any of the other +20 PPG scorers or All-Star position players they have had over the years.

I dont know if the Heat stack up all time, what greats have they had other than Wade, Shaq, Bosh, and that all star Lebron?

Don't recall much about their history.

Those guys are pretty great. I'd also put Alonzo Mourning up there, Tim Hardaway and Jamal Mashburn. I was thinking about 5.

Hardaway
Wade
Lebron
Mourning
Shaq

That's an all time great 5

There's a reason why Boston and Los Angeles have won nearly half the championships in NBA history. The only real debate is between them.

Celtics:
PG: Cousy, Rondo
SG: Havlicek, Jones, Allen
SF: Bird, Pierce, Heinsohn
PF: Garnett, McHale
C:Russell, Parish

Lakers:
PG: Magic, Goodrich
SG: Kobe, West, Scott
SF: Baylor, Worthy
PF: Gasol, Wilkes
C: O'Neal, Kareem, Chamberlain

correct. I think we could probably toss another 2-3 teams up here for all time lists, but nobody could match the depth of these 2, along with star power.

I knew it was the Lakers before I even clicked this link.

Magic = best PG of all-time
Kobe = second-best SG of all-time
Elgin Baylor = top-five SF of all-time

Then you have a three-headed monster up front with Kareem, Shaq, and Wilt, and you have a first-ballot Hall of Famer as your sixth man in Jerry West. Finally, you have an assortment of elite talent to fill out the team: James Worthy, Eddie Jones, Michael Cooper, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, etc.

No one is even coming close to touching that.

Would own any lineup they could possibly come up with. Smart players and every one of them is unguardable. Probably the #2 team all time after LA

Andrew Toney is missing. My Dad hated him (as a Bird/C's fan), said he was unstoppable when he got going. I would put him over Doug Collins personally, but that is me. You guys are actually pretty stacked at the 2 wing positions, you even had to omit Iggy, and Hawkins. And no Bobby Jones?

you guys are loaded at the C position, but I don't like the guards much.

I guess with this exercise, are we using the player while they were with the listed team? Meaning, Barkley in Houston, was not Barkley in Philly/Phoenix..

Yeah, if its an all-time roster including the players at their very best (that at least played 3 seasons), then the Celtics can include Dominique Wilkins and Bill Walton... with Shaq just missing the cut due to not completing the 3 seasons on his contract because of injuries/retirement.

I picked Doug C because he could play some PG too.

No Jones because he was more of a defensive and I would have him behind the 5 other bigs with Embiid soon to take that top C spot.

I am assuming the players while they were on the listed team. Barkley still averaged a double-double every years in Houston and was the 2nd best player on the 97 team that just missed going to the finals (averaged 19/14 that season). But for the same reason I didn't include Scottie Pippen, Dwight Howard, Mutombo, etc, I think these lists should be the player that actually played for these teams.

Idk about that.. you got a lot of great bigs..

KG, Kevin love, al Jefferson (had his best years in Minnesota), then you got KAT who I think will be better than all of them except maybe KG. Then you got a lot of shooters, Wally zerbiak (or however you spell his name). I used to think he was very underrated, I liked him. Marbury (too bad you let him get away). Then you got Wiggins and lavine who could turn into all star type players in a couple years and who knows, maybe Kris Dunn too when Rubio leaves (although I'm personally not very high on his potential tbh), then you got Rubio to give everyone the ball in the right spots. It's not a great team compared to other all time greats but it's not terrible either for a franchise with only 25 years of existence (give or take).

PG- Earl Monroe / John Wall / Gilbert Arenas

C- Wes Unseld / Ben Wallace

Yes, but you have the flexibility to use any version while with that particular franchise. For example, Heat fans can decide that Wade is peak Wade for this roster, even if he might not have performed at peak level throughout his tenure, and even if he wasn't in his prime when he played with another player on the same roster.
