Phil Jackson, in his cryptic--so cryptic that nobody can begin to understand just what the hell he is doing to the Knicks--brilliance, fired an assistant coach that was credited with developing several players and was also--you guessed it--Kristap Porzingis' favorite assistant coach.

What the heck is wrong with Phil Jackson? I'm starting to believe he may have a brain tumor. This is the same guy that is the winningest coach in pro ball. Granted, he 'coached' some of the greatest players, but his time with the Knicks is such a contrast to his coaching success.

When is this nightmare going to end for the Knicks? Will the owner ever step in and stop this nonsense? How is this good for business and the future of the team? People call him the Zen Master, but holy crap, is he causing a lot of chaos right now for the Knicks.

Phil was a great coach, but he's not a very good exec. His knowledge isn't the problem, it's his ego.

Sometimes you have a great coach who can become a great exec, like Pat Riley.

Sometimes you have a great player who can become a great coach, like Larry Bird.

Other times, you get the disaster cases where it's clear one talent doesn't correlate to the other. Phil Jackson is sadly one of those disaster cases so far.

If KP, ultimately --miraculously ends up in a Lakers uniform in exchange for D'Angelo Russell/Julius Randle that'll answer your questions.

Phil might be the most winningest coach. But he had Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Grant, Kukoc and then Kobe and Shaq. Heck a dog could of sat on the sidelines and did the same thing. Let the players go out and do their thing and win. Isn't like he had a bunch of scrubs and overachieved.

But they didn't do anything when he left or before he got there. Jordan didn't win ****, Kobe and Shaq didn't win ****, Kobe didn't win **** after he left. It's easy to point out the players but let's not overlook Phil's impact. Also being able to managing those egos/personalities only a few coach would of been able to win with that.

On to Phil as much as I'm down on him, on this, I'm on his side. He's 100% correct. KP is acting like a *****es (just like a lot these stars do) and instead of voicing his opinions at the exit meeting, he chooses too skip it, go overseas without informing the organization and oh yeah demanding changes from overseas. Phil is old school, too old school but I'm with him on this. KP isn't man enough to talk to Phil face to face so he sends his agents and Phil blows him off. Then he fires his favorites assistant but kept his other favorite assistant. All in all KP is in the wrong Phil needs to go and most importantly MELO NEEDS TO BE TRADED. KP is picking up his bad habits!
