View Full Version : Cavs Playoff Win Streak: How Long?

Going back into last season, (which closed with 3 straight wins) and into this season, (10 wins so far), the Cavs are on a 13 game winning streak in the playoffs, and without IT, it seems like this streak will certainly extend to 15 games.

Where do you think the streak will end? Will we have to wait until next season to find out?

How impressive is this?

The Warriors are on a 11-game streak right now as well. So at least one of those (probably/hopefully) both of those will come to end in the finals.

I seen an interesting statistic earlier along these lines. There have been 151 NBA playoff games where a team led by 20 or more at halftime. Those teams are 150-1 with a +20 point lead at halftime.

The Warriors and Cavs account for 17 of those games in 2016 and 2017.

I would honestly expect Golden State's winning streak to reach 14. I can't imagine them losing a home game these playoffs. Cleveland's will get to 12 and that's certainly incredible, but it's not going to be the longest streak.

Cavs have a new streak ... or is it a streak at 1 game?

You live by the 3, you die by the 3.
