The Jazz are the anti-Rockets. These have been very interesting matches to me. Can't wait for the game tonight. Hope Hill plays.

14 threes attempted (50%) midway through the 2nd. You sure? Out Rocketing the Rockets.

Denver is second to Utah in Lost VORP due to injury and my guess we will pass them eventually with how this second half has started.

Miami Heat are 20-4 in their last 24 games. Half a game back from the Bulls.

So the Pelicans are now 1-6 since the trade, and the only game they won was the game that Cousins was suspended. So Cousins is 0-5 and hasn't won a game yet with the Pelicans. Not a great team player. It's just awful to watch them play.

And the Jazz win with no Hill or Favors. I wish we could get the Rockets in the playoffs. I just feel like we matchup well with them but it won't happen seeding wise. We definitely benefited from Harden going 0'fer from deep but I'll take the W.

It's strange seeing Warriors in close games lol

Lakers + Giants

Best 4th quarter team proving it so far vs the dubs.

Lakers + Giants
03-09-2017, 01:52 AM
Spurs now only 1 loss behind the dubs. Could make a huge difference if Spurs have HCA.

I disagree with this. I don't think HCA matters, with this warriors team, at all.

Its no longer a cake walk for the cavs either... boston looks ****ing strong... raptors/boston/wizards gonna give people some problems... but also durant going down now is 2nd best thing for the warriors over not going down at all of course... If it happened later they would have been in trouble... its going to take them a few weeks to be the team they were without durant but they will be fine.

No, you could still say it regardless. Their sample size of dominance is large enough. Don't need to group their prior history to this.

Their roster hasn't changed much (starter wise) since West and Jackson arrived, so I disagree with that, there might be a "large enough sample size" of dominance but they turned the corner from contenders to king of the hill with the same core players, so I still have to disagree from that perspective.

This core of players has both dominated, and been a fringe/middle of the pack contender in the span of 4-5 seasons, we have been dominant of late, but that's very recent history and it wasn't long ago this same core lost to the Nuggets and Clippers in the playoffs.

I think another benefit is the team is now in a position to "remember" how to dominate without him, and I think that such stress is invaluable come playoff time, whether we have/don't have Durant. This team won a 'ship without him, and I won't contemplate "but bogut, role players who are gone" as sound reasoning or an excuse.

Gotta be honest, prob the most money I've made on sports bets all year. Next up will be the Warriors btb in San Antonio.

I can see the Heat getting the 6th seed playoffs. Pacers, Bulls, Pistons aren't all that exciting. Heck my Bucks making a push now. Since both Bulls and Pacers loss last night. Bucks half game back of 8th seed. Bucks need to beat the Pacers and Wolves and Piston play the Cavs soon. If Cavs stomp Pistons, Bucks in at 8th seed. Middleton is the glue guy we sorry missed.

Spurs epic comeback coupled with the Warriors L coupled with the multiple bend the Dubs have yet to play against SAS def put them in the driver's seat for the 1 seed. It will be interesting to see how both coaches manage that (especially knowing it is effectively only CHA against each other, as they have everyone else locked up).

Well my comment was based on what they have become, not what they were. I didn't think I had to preface my comment by acknowledging that.

Call it recency bias but I'm sure I'm not alone in getting used to watching the Warriors obliterate teams. Two yrs is a significant amount of time.

No doubt... Not only for a potential matchup, but GS's path could get much tougher.

Suns and lakers :pity:

I need the lakers to win but I am not sure they are capable of winning another game this year lol.

Spurs vs thunder... Smart money would be on the spurs but I think westy goes off again and gets the win... I hope not because I want the spurs getting the 1 seed so the warriors have a tougher route to the finals... I pray Memphis gets the 7 spot as well instead of the 6... Warriors opening against Memphis without a healthy KD makes 1 and done a possibility lol.

Just 7 games, but Seth Curry is proving to be a real threat. Over the last 2 months (23 games) he's at 18/3/3 on 53/47/87 +1.6 TO's. Him and Noel are probably the best players on that team at this point. 14-9 in those games to boot. No small task for a team that was flirting with the bottom seed of the conference prior to that.

Steph's obviously in a bit of a slump, but Seth's looking really good. Has he really improved that much or is he simply getting more opportunites?

Losing Kawhi sucked.. I expected a drop off after last night and with some guys out ,but I expect them to make up this game Saturday (if Kawhi plays) and hope GS drops a couple during their last week in March

Nurkic had a pretty amazing game. Going 28,20,8 with 6 blocks. He's thriving with the Blazers. By the looks of it, it appears the Blazers will edge out the Nuggets for that last playoff spot. Mainly because of 1.) Mike Malone's ignorance early in the season and not committing to Jokic and 2.) The injuries. They have been one of, if not the most injured ravaged team this year.

Hasn't Denver been among the most injured the last couple of seasons too?
