Curry about to enter top-10 career 3s

Curry is currently at 11th all time, 2 shots behind Billups for 10th over all, and will likely be in 8th place by seasons end.

The impressive thing about it? He is only in his 8th season and he is already ahead of Dirk, who long ago established himself as an elite 3-pt shooter, who is among the all-time career scoring leaders, has been an All-Star 13X AS and 12X AllNBA player....Dirk has played TWICE as many seasons as Curry, and Curry has already eclipsed Dirk.


Despite the cold streak he is currently on, Curry's shear, complete, and utter dominance is just jaw-dropping. When you put his current standing in context.... I'm just astounded.

He'll retire number 1 all-time, which he'll reach at age 32 at this pace lol

The most impressive part is definitely the % he maintains on the sheer volume he launches them at. To be top 3 All-Time % wise as a #1 option on that volume is no joke. And it's actually #1 % wise as well if you remove the years for Kerr/Brown where they shot 3's from the different 3pt line (so excluding the two mid 90's seasons where it was brought in and everybody went ape ****).

PG with the green light to shoot it in a shooting era of 3's at its height and his dad was a pure 3pt marksmen, pretty much 50pct of his fg attempts are 3's, impressive but not shocking at all to see what he is doing

its like Jordan dunking a lot in a era of posting/driving/dunking, impressive but not shocking at all, he has a couple more years to be at this pace because once gets on the wrong side of 30 those shots will become tougher and fewer to come by, on that note he is deadly from the 3pt line as anyone who has stepped foot on the hardwood

Its impressive but its been costing the warriors games... Not in the sense that he is missing them either... Because the mindset is i can make anything he is taking stupid game ending 3s when there are 2 point layups to be had similar to that of the finals where he could have walked around love and laid it in... He has 3 chances again to do just this in the past few weeks but took a long contested 3 and bricked it.
