against the Rockets too. Rockets making moves as well so it will be fun to evaluate both teams. A kings return will be hilarious. Kings fans will cheer Cousins and boo the management. difficult being a kings fan. Terrible draft decisions and they have traded away players who are excelling. AKA, thomas.

I hope we massacre the Knicks by like 40 points. I'm excited/mad for some reason and won't feel better until Bogut/D-Will clear waivers and sign with us. The wait is too long.

I also wouldn't mind if CP3 returns to give the Warriors a beatdown in Oracle but it won't happen.

@Bogut/DWill, think you'll actually get both? Would be amazing pickups for mins.

@CP3 and the Clips, I legitimately cannot remember the last time they have beaten us. It's been a few years for sure.

Definitely looking forward to Pels and Rockets. That's actually to me the most intriguing matchup for them (next season after they gel, at least).

d-will apparently wants to join the cavs and bogut would probably want to play against his former team. looks likely that Cavs can get both.

I can buy D Will (and that's a much much more important piece for the Cavs imo), but for some reason I don't see Bogut teaming up with them. He might be pissed at GS though, we'll see.

Blatant foul by Cousins on Harden that wasn't called. You can't body check someone and then block them.

It looks like Deron Williams is coming to Cleveland per Marc Stein and other sources, but only if he doesn't get claimed.

Bogut is up in the air, but it sounds like the Cavs and Rockets might be the leading candidates.

Yeah, they weren't the last to trade him so only Dallas can't sign him. I'm not sure who they'd want to dump to get him to join honestly. Maybe their D League "Star" Weber they just signed to a 10 day, but I do think they like the potential of his wing D.

Unfortunately for the Pels, Gentry is still their coach. This off-season, the Pels need a new coach and support cast.

Lou Williams however, looks fantastic so far. Really excited about this pick up.

They're back 4 in the loss column and have 3 teams ahead of them (2 if we remove Sac). That's not an easy leapfrog with only 30 games to go with a roster that has no clue how to play with each other (and frankly still is not very good). I don't expect them to be a playoff team.

LeBron James is showing why his game will age better than most legends. His passing is absolutely off the charts.

But even now, it's insulting to even argue that there's a player that's better than LeBron. He's so much better than the rest of the league.

JAZZNC
02-23-2017, 11:23 PM
I think that this will be slightly indicative of the Pelicans going forward. They aren't much even with two superstars. As good as those two supposedly are they still get crushed together. I dunno. I still don't know that either are winners or make others better.

One Nut Kruk

For those who weren't watching, other than the D stats, those were some major garbage time #'s by DMC in the 4th quarter where they were down 30+ points and playing the 2nd unit. He played fine, but nothing close to what the #'s indicate.

Some of my favorite stats about Lou's debut tonight....
- Lou Williams had 7 3-pointers on only 11 attempts in his Rockets debut in only 25 minutes.
- In his 759 career games prior to this one, he has accomplished that once.
- Corey Brewer has only 9 3-pointers for the entire 2017 calendar year (on 40 attempts).
- The entire Pelicans team has only 6 made 3-pointers.

I think I'm going to like this guy... :)

Kings win 116 to 100 over Denver

Emotionally, that's a big win and a great way to start the post-Cousins era. The fan base has been pretty down on the team since the trade, so it's nice to get the new era started on the right foot.

Willie Cauley-Stein with 29 points and 10 rebounds
Buddy Hield with 16 points and 6 rebounds

Hopefully a sign of things to come.

You see the lights on the train in the distance and you know it's coming, but will 4 quarters pass before it hits you? Like, if games went 5 quarters the Warriors might be undefeated right now.

In Klay's 37 point quarter, he did that in about 9 minutes and took 13 shots ... that was 2 years ago before Green had matured and Curry wasn't quite this Curry yet and Durant was on a different team. 64 points in one quarters time doesn't seem impossible to top in some ways.

That said, they can fall apart and just lose bad too.

I've certainly never seen it go anywhere near that long and certainly not when an intentional foul is the plan. It's things like this that convince me more and more that Pop is right and IQ is the most important and under-used talent in the NBA.

Yea.. It is definitely under-used. But to waste about 23 seconds, just a heady play by Lawson and though the game was probably done, just an odd play for Denver to not try and press him.

And thanks.. I love Manu man.. Every now and again he'll show some Manu magic again. I'm so glad he didn't walk away when TD did lol

But Giannis wasn't smashing it on the GOATs (or whatever you are calling him this week) head hahaha! Its obviously more impressive to dunk on the greatest player to ever play than it is to dunk on lowly Jazz players who blew your team out....again.

There are these guys Moses Malone, Sir Charles, and AI that reached a level that Giannis has yet to achieve and may not ever. But you already said you don't even know who those guys are so it's pointless to tell you that those were MVP caliber players not guys leading their teams to a high lottery pick.

Part of that is because of the way LeBron likes his team and scheme.

What happened ... where is LeBron?

Warriors 48-9 vs 9-48 Nets ... symmetry that will be maintained at least 1 more game.

Fwiw, the bulls have played them well, even when Lebron played. I think they're 3-0 against them now this year

Bulls have always played us well. We were also missing Love and JR too.

Bulls had their best 3-point shooting game of the season (league worst 3-point shooting team). Kyrie went for 34/9/7 on 52% shooting, while Kay Felder went 0/4 on field goals, 1 assist and 4 turnovers. D-Will is gonna be a good addition for us.

We suck without LeBron, but the team is also built around him.

Yea.. not having Love there of course hurts too, I totally forgot to mention that haha. On paper they shouldn't suck without Lebron, they should be pretty solid. But like you said, they're built around him.

AD took 34 shots to Cousins 9? Next year the Pelicans will be interesting, particularly if they can add a veteran SG/SF who can and will shoot.

If Gentry had learn anything from Kerr when on the offensive, it's to move the ball until someone is open. They lost cause of Cousins penchant for committing fouls and turnovers, nothing new there .

It's a positive step for the Wolves. Earlier in the season they quit when they got down by 15-20 points ... this time they didn't, they played hard and smart.

But... how does a team shoot 42 FTAs and 58 3PAs? They had 94 total FGAs... so they only had 36 2pt attempts and shot 42 free throws for that. The 1.000+ FTr for 2PAs, which is insane.

If they shot 2 free throws for every FGA, then they went to the line approximately 60% of any shot that they took inside the 3-point arc.

FGA doesn't include shots where the player is fouled if the shot isn't made.

Nothing. Kerr LOVES Draymond and actually encourages Green to be a little out of control. Ron Adams doesn't agree with Kerr on that but he does say that Kerr and Green are on the same page about it ... and that they are more similar in personality than most people would think.

Pretty sweet that you can determine how they lost without even watching the game.Well I am basing it on how he lost games in Sactown which I have watch and assume he continued in this game. It would be better if you really knew why they lost in your reply considering you probably think Cousins is all that and won big in the trade like the majority here. AD will regret having him as a teammate sooner or later that will shock you...
