Nets are sending Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough to the Wizards for Andrew Nicholson and a 2017 first-round pick, sources tell @TheVertical.

Thornton is going to Brooklyn as well.

At least Brooklyn can get a pick in this draft. And for once, they actually won a trade imo. I am not too set on Bojan because his stats aren't so good. 44% from the field with 36% from three? Does that merit giving up a 2017 first for? Not really imo. Couldn't Washington like send a 2nd rounder for Wayne Ellington or something?

Not bad. Now go get Collison.

Great trade for the Nets. You add another another 1st rd pick, and you acquire front court help currently under contract at a modest 6.5 million per season(Nicholson).

Then trade B.LOpez & RHJ to the Blazers for Moe Harkless, Festus Ezeli, N.Vonlah, & 2017 Grizzles 1st rd pick.

L:

C- Ezeli/Hamilton/Scola
PF- Nicholson/Booker/Vonlah
SF- Harkless/Acy/Harris
SG- Kilpatrick/Levert/Thornton
PG- Lin/Whitehead/Dinwiddle

The good thing for the Wizards is they add money to resign OPJr

Good trade for the Nets. Take back on Nicholson sucks, but ah well. They got the room to handle it.

Not sure why this is going down as a good trade for the Nets. Maybe because they usually get hustled so bad. Nicholson was one of the worst signings this off-season imo and the 1st will be low enough that the deep draft won't matter. He didn't get as much as some but 4 years at that price for that production alone was worth moving a late 1st to get rid of. Especially for Washington who inexplicably overpaid for 3 bigs last off-season. I say good move for Washington.

Or Dion Waiters if Riley were considering the future rather than the present season.

Similar to the Rockets and Lakers trade, I think this is a deal that works for both sides. Despite not having a lottery pick in this draft, at least Brooklyn will have some late round picks to start building with. They might even be able to package them to move up in the draft.

Nicholson isn't that bad. He'll put up good numbers with the Nets. He's a great post player and looked like he could be a good 3pt shooter when he was in Orl. I think this is a solid trade for both teams. I like Bojan off the bench a lot for the Wizards. He could be huge for them in the play offs.

Wizards might not be done

@TimBontemps

Even after this trade, Wizards are still looking around for some more help if they can get it by tomorrow afternoon

You know doing a little research, McCollough might be the xfactor here.

They could use a guy like DJ Augustine.

Bogie and McCollough for a late first and extra contract money. Another bad moves for the netsies. And i fully understand they need picks.

If they move Lopez that's 3 first round picks.

Nicholson has to contribute to make this a good deal for the Nets. He's on the books for $20 mil over the next 3 seasons.

BK now has two picks in the draft, good for them because they are really in a hole
