The Nets are in sell mode!

And our headline piece to move is Center, Brook Lopez.

Who wants him? Any takers?

Going once, going twice, SOLD to ________

I don't think a team should trade for Brook Lopez because of injury issues. Granted, he's been healthy this season, but that doesn't make me want to invest in him as a hypothetical NBA GM. Lopez also averages 5.2 boards this season.

Thanks for posting this.

Interesting rumor and team. (Considering the Nets dealt Thaddeus Young to the Pacers)

We can't make the money work without sending back at least Al Jefferson. I doubt they're wanting to take back that kind of salary commitment.

My Kings set the price for centers, so apparently you can get like Ben Meclemore and a 2nd from us for him.

The injury stuff will always be there but hes really been pretty healthy going on his third ear now. Hes just never gonna be something you can trust.

I think one of the few teams that might have use for a skill set like Lopez's, and the expiring contracts to get him, is the Pelic– Oh; well thanks for that Sacramento.

Bucks were linked to Lopez trade rumors last few years. Even before Bucks got Kidd. There was that rumor of Kidd wanting to trade Lopez to Bucks for Sanders and Ersan. Then Kidd stepped down or got fired. Then Kidd knew ahead of time his buddy is one of the Bucks new owners. So he probably had a heads up on the job. But after Bucks had to give up second round picks for Kidd and a year trade ban between Nets/Bucks. Also Bucks had Lopez on big man free agency list along with Monroe, Chandler, R.Lopez, Jordan. Jordan got scratched off fast since it seemed Jordan only wanted Mavs or Clippers. So we moved on fast.

Then Lopez stayed with Nets. Then we moved onto Chandler/Monroe. If the asking price is still 2 first round picks then forget it. Not sure what the Bucks would offer. But I wouldn't offer up 2 picks. Unless lottery protected. Since Parker wont be back till next year February. Maybe 1 first in 2018 unprotected or maybe top 5 and salary filler to match Lopez $20M deal. Maybe Henson and Telly. Its not pretty. But I wouldn't offer up any young guys like Brogdon or Maker. Maybe part with Snell or Vaughn but that's even pushing it.

Bucks main weakness is rebounding which Lopez doesn't bring to the table. Yeah Lopez has a three ball now. But Bucks spent enough this summer and got guys that can shoot the three. Also Bucks have 5 centers so kinda hard to figure what Nets would want and what we would part with. Also we have a ton of money stuck in the center position. Yeah we got lucky to trade Plumlee.

If the Rockets didn't already have Ryan Anderson, I would say I'd be interested in Lopez in a Rockets jersey. But they can only afford one overpaid big man who can't rebound or stay healthy in the starting lineup. The idea of spending $40 million on Ryno and Lopez next season would make me want to hang myself. But if the Nets were interested in Anderson, that would certainly be a conversation worth having...
