Always seem to do this on the last day of January. Crazy that spring training is around the corner, crazy some of the names that we will list, and crazy we won't list Ortiz. Here is what I got.

I'll do average/OBP HRs, and RBI

Benintendi - .291/.358 - 17 HRs and 74 RBI

Pedroia - .297/.365 - 16 HRs and 76 RBI

Bogaerts - .285/.350 - 24 HRs and 91 RBI

Betts - .301/.368 - 28 HRs and 105 RBI

Ramirez - .288/.357 - 32 HRs and 112 RBI

Bradley - .272/.345 - 22 HRs and 83 RBI

Sandoval - .273/.328 - 18 HRs and 80 RBI

Moreland - .260/.315 - 20 HRs and 72 RBI

Catcher - .258/.305 - 13 HRs and 63 RBI

Pitchers:

Chris Sale - 19-8 with a 3.38 ERA

David Price - 21-7 with a 3.10 ERA

Rick Porcello - 16-9 with a 3.89 ERA

Drew Pomeranz - 15-8 with a 3.74 ERA

Eduardo Rodriguez - 14-9 with a 4.09 ERA

I see regression in Porcello, have Sale being Sale, I think its a big year for Price and I think Pomeranz does well. I left Wright out for now

Offense I see Sandoval returning to something resembling respectability and Moreland having somewhat of a better year.

Either Way my projections and all of yours aside. We have a damn good team on paper.

85 wins from 5 pitchers? 756 RBI's from 9 hitters? Highly doubt most of these projections especially considering Chris young and Brock Holt will both be getting tiehr fair share of at bats and Steven Wright will get a decent amount of starts.

I'll go for it:

Benintendi - .279/.341 - 14 HR & 66 RBI

Pedroia - .277/.350 - 12 HR & 70 RBI

Bogaerts - .301/.366 - 21 HR & 97 RBI

Betts - .315/.370 - 24 HR & 109 RBI

Ramirez - .272/.347 - 28 HR & 113 RBI

Bradley - .258/.333 - 16 HR & 71 RBI

Sandoval - .282/.333 - 13 HR & 82 RBI

Moreland - .247/.310 - 20 HR & 61 RBI

Catchers - .258/.320 - 9 HR & 75 RBI

Bench will get some time as well.

Chris Sale - 17-10 3.55 ERA

Rick Porcello - 15-9 3.87 ERA

David Price - 18-6 3.15 ERA

Drew Pomeranz - 10-6 4.45 ERA

Steven Wright - 9-4 3.76 ERA

Eduardo Rodriguez - 4-6 4.78 ERA

This team looks solid on paper, and it should be a fun year to watch. However, I won't buy this team being better than last year until they do it. We lost Ortiz, and added Moreland. We added Sale, and dealt Buchholz for nothing. We have the pitching, and the hitting will still be here as well...but will it all come together this year? Will David Price be our ace, or our #3? Will Benintendi be more than average? Will Betts regress? Just too many questions to say too much.

With all that babbling said, I think we win the division by a good margin.

I understand what you are saying. I am just giving my projections on an individual basis, what it added up to wasn't my concern while doing them.
