Looking forward to the Jazz/Thunder matchup. Should be a good one although with no Hill Westbrook is gonna poop all over our PGs.

I really like where the Sixers are heading. They are going to be really good soon.

Cavs are sitting James/Irving/Love. They are a very dangerous team tho, especially once Conley is back

Didn't know all three were sitting out. I read the score wrong as well as I was in a rush. Thought they were up this whole time. Still, I love how hard they play.

Agreed. The Celtics offense can be tough to watch without Thomas.

Man, injuries have killed them this year.

I didn't realize he was out till tip, but makes sense. He's the engine for that offense. Bradley looks good, but he needs some help

I was looking at it from our perspective. The recent Pop tongue lashings, + having 3 nights off finally prior to this and actually getting some practice time in. Even without Aldridge, I felt they would play much better than they have lately.

Oh for sure. They always play hard. They've been playing very well despite Conley being out

In retrospect asking MVP Westbrook to shoot 40% from the field for a change mayyyy have been a bit of a reach.

I've seen Kawhi pull out a DR J like 1 handed finish, now he just had a sky hook across the lane

Man Steven is really comfortable leaving unproven youngsters out there for long crucial stretches. Hes like the Anti-Doc. Doc would've pulled these guys 3 minutes in at the most.

kdspurman

Dedmon & Lee... They've been terrific all year, and I suspect Dedmon will get much more time as the season goes a long. He finishes around the rim like DeAndre, plus he hits the mid range-and FT's.

Far better defensively than any other big we've got now. He'll be the key IMO

The key will be tp turning back the clock or at least not looking like a dinosaur. He looked great tonight

He usually does when he's rested. He and Manu when they have 2+ days off. But contract Patty Mills will likely have a larger role if he continues thus play anyway

Finally the two super teams collide. Won't be able to catch it as I'll be out watching Rogue One, but it should be a slobberknocker!

Nikola Jokic rounding into form. 17.8 ppg, 10.6 rpg 3.4 apg, 1 bpg. His PER over the last 5 games leads the league with 37.7. Crazy stats for only 25.5 minutes per game over that time.

Butler is easily behind Giannis this year, although you wouldn't know because he was drafted by a small market team

I was not responding to any Butler/Giannis comparison, but while we're at it... no, he's not. It's comparable with a clear edge to Butler. Higher PPG on higher efficiency for Butler? Check. Better Assist:TO ratio for Butler? Check. Higher PER, WinShares and RPM for Butler? Check check check. Leading a better team? Check.

Players who are "clearly behind" another player don't have all of those factors in their favor. Ever.

Porzingis making his comment about how "after the game ended last year, all I could think about was when we get to play them again, I'm ready for him (Draymond Green)" sort of backfired. Green said it got him extra fired up to guard Kristaps after he heard that. He held Kristaps to 8 and 5 on 30% from the field in 35 minutes for his worst game of the season. Be careful poking the bear young Porzingis, that dude's the best defender in the NBA right now.

Yo, I bet there are a few seasons where Drob has all of that on Dream. I hope so, so that we can put all this "Drob is clearly behind Dream" talk to rest. Cause as you stated, anyone who is up in all those things is "never clearly behind. Ever"!

D Rob had plenty of reg seasons you could argue he was at a higher level than Dream. Difference is Dream had another level that he could tap into. Both at their best, Dream's better.
