Really hoping Blake wasn't secretly injured in his last game. Usually after so many losses in a row I'm super confident for the next game regardless of the opponent but Cleveland has been playing bad too of late. Both teams will correct themselves eventually.

Only throwing down 50 on that matchup, i don't like betting with my heart but **** it . I'll be at the rematch in la

Well we gave Mavs and Pelicans first win of the season. Which was embarrassing. Yet we put a scare into Warriors in a close loss. Then we beat Cavs other night. If we beat Nets twice in back to backs we take Knicks playoff spot.

Well, I'd be absolutely shocked if the Cavs showed no effort tonight. Just got beat down by the Bucks and now we're on national tv vs. a top team in the NBA. LeBron should have our guys playing hard.

If we play with a playoff-style intensity and we're hitting our shots, I think we should win this game. But the Clippers will be playing hard too, so I'm curious to see how their defense plays against our offense.

My biggest concern is the rebounding. Tristan can win most matchups but DJ could neutralize him. When TT is a non-factor we REALLY tend to have issues.

It's good to hear Channing Frye will be back tonight, though. I wonder how we'll play after such a terrible month.

Guess the schedule would not work out where the Sixers could play last nights game tonight. From what I heard looks like a January 30th makeup date?

Expecting an a-hole stomping tonight. Middle of a road trip and 3 games in 4 nights while the Warriors have been sitting at home a few days.

Honestly, though, I expect an a-hole stomping for anyone facing the Warriors this year.

Eh - Green shot 38% from 3 in the playoffs and 39% from three in the reg season (for reference: Extraordinarily better than Kobe than regular or post-season). He's good lol. Honestly I think he's just shook from how open he is all the time.

Punch off the bench. Back with the Clips he used to be able to play both on and off the ball with either baron davis or mo williams equally well. Gives them some nice versatility and they could really use bevs defense in that starting unit.

Also i have a feeling morey is keeping an eye on his minimal +/- influence

I mean it should have never come to this.

The Warriors basically gave them the game and with the refs sending them to the line, it was an uphill battle the whole way but none of that matters now.

CAN WE PLAY TURNOVER FREE BASKETBALL FOR FIVE MINUTES!?

Good game, Warriors fans. The Rockets have hardly been perfect this year, but considering they've played 13 of their first 19 games on the road and have gone 8-5 in those games, including wins over San Antonio and Golden State, I'd take that in a heartbeat.

That game against Denver tomorrow night scares the crap out of me, though. Double overtime on the West Coast against the best team in the league and then a trip over to a high altitude arena to play a fast-paced Nuggets team? I don't like that at all.

With a few minutes left in regulation I was going to come in here afterwards regardless of the outcome and say this was the greatest game I've seen all season. Then it only got better and ended with a Rockets win.

I totally expect the Warriors to blow them out in Houston, though.

I thought I was excited to see Skinny Lister tomorrow night after being let down tonight. Now after a Cowboys win and the Rockets having a GotY against the GREATEST TEAM EVER ASSEMBLED, tomorrow will just be that much sweeter.

He was shocked they called a flagrant, but certainly he knows the reputation he has and the fact that everything he does with his legs is being watched. Especially when it happens on a nationally televised game, to a guy like Harden.

Meaning they need someone take the pressure off and feed them open looks? Haven't checked the stats but is lue refraining from staggering bron and Kyrie?

Is JR done as a 6man? Really felt like some of shumps decline last year was from being forced to the bench. Do you guys still run him at pg or did that die the quick death it always has?

Yep.

Lue is still staggering Kyrie and Bron, but he's still experimenting with some of the other pieces. Usually he brings LeBron out in the 1st with 2-3 minutes left and lets Love + Kyrie finish the quarter with RJ/Shump. LeBron starts the 2nd quarter with RJ/Channing/Shump and some combination of Dunleavy or Felder or Liggins. Dunleavy seems to be dropping out of the rotation since he has been a complete bum so far, and Jordan McRae is getting more minutes.

Our bench + LeBron has been known to outplay opposing benches especially when we're playing the benches of scrub teams. But the Clips weren't having it.

I think JR is done as a sixth man because of the title run with him as starter.

I think Lue likes Shump primarily as our PG this year. Shump has been having a career year so far in that role. But occasionally Lue will give Felder some run and he plays about as well as you'd expect a rookie to play. Last night he was really bad, though.

I'm starting to hear murmuring from Cleveland sports minds about how the Cavs need to find a suitable replacement for Delly.

I get you're saying "if you think that was intentional" but MBT used the words unnecessary(true btw) and inadvertent. Can't go around saying people are clueless if you're defending something so dumb that a wild player does.

Definitely a Warriors fan, but this definitely was in no way dangerous or intentional. He wasn't even looking at Harden. It's just an absurd ejection.

Intentional...probably not.

Dangerous...oh yeah. Just because it didn't connect doesn't mean it wasn't dangerous. Every time he pulls this stupid move it's dangerous even if it's intentional or not.

There's really nothing entirely unnatural about that movement if you have a fundamental understanding of physics and body control. You DO see this with other players as well. It's not some new Draymond-centric phenomenon, he's simply watched with glaring eyes.

To think he's aware enough to try to kick his leg out at a players chest or head in an attempt to draw contact, but simultaneously unaware enough to think that he might be the one who gets the blame in that situation is pretty delusional failure of logic if you ask me. The dude was at the rim and already drawing contact, the resulting leg in the air was after the fact and just looked like his standard motion.

Out of curiosity, why do you experts suppose Draymond does this motion constantly whilst rebounding the ball with nobody in front of him (leg still kicks forward despite the player behind him)? Just... practice?

It's outright ignorance and stupidity to be dishing out flagrants and suspensions for this ****.

The people certain Green did it on purpose and those who are certain he didn't both are in the same boat on that though.

I don't know that it was intentional, I do think it wasn't egregious enough to get him a flagrant ... unless there is an absolute rule about contact with a players head ... if there is I can see guys at the ends of benches being trained to put their heads in the way of flailing body parts a lot more to get rid of annoying players on the opposition. :)

Dang, gutsy win by the Rockets. That deadly stepback by Harden. That almost ended it at the buzzer. Indefensible.

Odd that Curry fouled out. Very uncharacteristic, am I right?

GS still figuring out the chemistry, clearly. People don't want to acknowledge the weaker bench. On nights like that, it helps to have a few more reliable guys than kids like Clark that can catch fire every blue moon.

Klay had a bad game. This is why teams like Houston or San Antonio can match the Warriors, which arguably Cleveland did last season by picking up shooters.

Green does this ALL THE TIME. He knows exactly what he is doing when he flails his leg out, he does it intentionally to clear out space and to create contact. The leg schtick is tired and repeated, claiming it is fine is not only ludicrous but stupid
