Tell me about it. Rather at the beginning then the end, though (although I haven't looked, maybe it'll be rough then, too).

OKA is learning from Embiid... He is a boss offensively but defensively he is doing his thing this year... Oka is going to be really good this year as well. I am so glad we are keeping him with Embiid

Yeah I agree. With the right coach and/or situation I think he becomes one of the game most dominant bigs just due to being a competent offensive player and so other-worldly in his defensive potential (already realizing a lot of it).

He'll do very well. Must be in his own head a little bit, but Klay does this from time to time. I think he struggled for nearly 2 months straight last year before he got in his Klay mode.

PS: Got Gobert in foul trouble. Nicely done. That's his Achilles heal.

PSS: Rockets 1st half +115. Cash it ; )

Next: Russell Wilson UNDER 255 yards passing.

Harden was a wreck turnover wise (just sloppy... but he WILL break the turnover record this year), but he had 10 assists again. Dude is going to lead the league in assists this year without question, and may very well lead it in points also.

Bear in mind this is the Rox 6th game of 7 on the road to start the year, and their 4th in a row. They're @ San Antonio next. And then get San Antonio at home their next game. It's the toughest start to the season of all teams.

Rockets will win ~46-52 games and Harden will probably win MVP (may lead the league in both scoring and assists).

Along the Harden theme, TO's are a huge issue for Embiid to start the year. Can't have your center averaging >6 per-36 (especially when he's not anything of note as a passer), and he's at it again tonight. Growing pains.

Turnover issues aside, what he's doing for that team is other-worldly. He's the MVP. Another ~30/15/7 night. For that to be standard is not human. And picks up the W on the road on their 4th road game in a row.

Lol nobody worth their salt is questioning Klay. Dude is shooting 19% from three seeing the easiest looks of his life. Granted, their offense is disjointed in comparison to last season (predictably so to start the year), but he's obviously far too good of a shooter not to progress to the mean ASAP. I would not be shocked to see him go 6-13 from three tonight.

I'd agree. It's only when defenses start to disproportionately defend him on the perimeter that everything fully opens. And if they do that with guys like KD and Klay on the floor, it's game over 9/10 times I'd imagine. Whether or not he's confident enough to pull it off with a guy like Durant on the floor with him in the playoffs will be the question to be seen.

I've watched about 30 games this year and it seems the refs are back to calling contact almost entirely in favor of the offense again and it bugs me. If a defensive player is in position and stays vertical it should be no foul or an offensive foul. The way they are being called now defensive players are expected to just disappear or something. I've seen probably 8 coaches yelling to the refs "What is he supposed to do?" I understand the desire of the NBA and the fans to encourage driving the ball to the hoop, but if they keep calling it like this it's just going to be a league of people running head first into defenders and going to the line, and nobody wants that. I like defense, but just like when the way officials were calling blocks caused bigs to start taking charges instead of trying to block the shot, the way the game is being officiated now is going to make defenses foul or get out of the way.

It's definitely frustrating. They really need to work on that happy medium. I've always gone up to the officials before my games (as a coach) and clarify that as long as my guy goes straight up in attempt to block that he's ok. Either way I tell my players and know what to argue.

Seriously, what is your problem with Harden and the Rockets? You were in here earlier trashing them during the Washington game and now, completely unprovoked, you take another shot at the guy. Why? Golden State was unquestionably the best team in the West the last two seasons and has created the super team to rival all super teams. The Rockets pose little to no threat to them at this point, so why keep taking shots?

Is your ego that fragile that the idea of Harden winning an MVP over Curry or pulling even the slightest bit of media attention away from your Warriors hurts your feelings? Seriously, let it go, man. It's pathetic.
