This sucks, he's already better than Farrell.

That hurts. I would much rather made TL manager and sent JF out the door.

That sucks. From what I heard, he will not be allowed to take any other coaches from the staff. Won't be surprised to see Butterfield become bench coach. Davis is also a possibility but he's been soooo good that I hope that he remains in his role.

Wow. We kept JF and let Lovullo leave...we really did it.

Great... probably means more games managed by JF to try and make it appear he was their guy all along. Most fans don't know how fat Lovullo's deal was.

JF career by:

W/L% place pythagorean

.500 4th +2
.451 4th -1
.599 1st -3
.438 5th -1
.481 5th -3
.574 1st -5

So, he's managed a big budget and a huge budget team to about 2 games on average below the wins run differential says he should have won. Under performed in 4 out of 6 years. Had his potent team fall alseep and get axed by a hungry and undermanned Indian team.

Besides the one year moron fest that was Valentine, JF is the worst Sox Manager since Butch Hobson, ans I hold Kevin Kennedy in very low esteem.

My guess will be Dana LeVangie

The #RedSox have several good internal candidates for bench coach: Ruben Amaro Jr., Brian Butterfield, Chili Davis and Dana LeVangie

I would prefer Alex Cora but Butterfield would be a good selection as well.
