This year, GMs sent private bids for the top players in the game, then used a draft and free agency to fill out their roster. Assume full health when voting. Which team below wins in a 7-game series?

7. Rapscena
C- Steven Adams (30), Tristan Thompson (12), Jahlil Okafor (6)
PF- Marcus Morris (30), Tristan Thompson (18)
SF- Danilo Gallinari (34), Stanley Johnson (8), CJ Miles (6)
SG- Courtney Lee (32), CJ Miles (16)
PG- Stephen Curry (34), Matthew Dellavedova(14)

10. Azkaban
PG: Damian Lillard - Jason Terry
SG: PJ Tucker - Manu Ginobili
SF: Jared Dudley - Luke Babbit
PF: Draymond Green - Taj Gibson
C: Robin Lopez - Bismack Biyombo

Super.

Close but honestly having Tristan Thompson is what seals it for me. Curry is still having nightmares of TT switching on to him on the PnR and Lillard will too.

Very close matchup.
Like Super said, having TT is a game changer.

My bench consists of Biyombo Manu and Taj, his has one guy. Biyombo and Taj can cause problems on pick and roll switches themselves defensively

Dudley played 1% of his minutes at SF and isn't good enough defensively to pass there for long periods of time.

So you got 5 players to fill you while you t 96 minutes at PF/C while you got 3 players to fill out the 144 minutes at PG/SG/SF.

He played 1% of time there for one season on a team that demanded he play PF. So you're using way wrong context.

PJ Tucker played 88% of his minutes at SF guarding the opposing team's best wing, i think he'd be fine.

What I want to know is how is anyone on your team going to contain Draymond Green?

I mean sure he can play 100% of his minutes at SF. I dont think that changes the fact he shouldn't be defending wings for long periods of time.

Dray isn't dominating the game scoring wise and he doesn't have enough options to dominate with his playmaking.

Rapscena by a landslide for.me

agree with raps that he's more of a PF at this point, but Gallo and Marcus aren't super quick guys that'll blow by him. I think he'd still have some trouble with Gallo tho

I actually like Shammy more in this matchup. I'm all about depth and I think that's where Shammy wins this matchup. I don't think the jump to Curry from Lillard is that drastic and Green is the next best player on either team. I'll take Shammys bench too.

Its not a landslide for Shammy, but I'd say he wins in 7.

Neither of them are remotely the defender TT is. Watching him terrorize Curry was unreal.

So if he was that good how can't draymond have a similar impact on curry?

Remember when Iggy locked up LeBron in the Finals and won FMVP? Yeah the very next year in the Finals Bron carved Iggy like a cake to win FMVP and the title.

Just because TT, for a few spells, shut down Curry doesn't mean he is suddenly a lockdown defender on opposing PGs. If you made TT the focal point of your Lillard defense, Lillard would smoke TT over a 7 game series.

Iggy didn't lock down Lebron in 2015.
