Remember, this is based on RIGHT NOW, not necessarily who was the best this past season, or who will be the best. It's a tricky debate, how much do you factor in the playoffs? Injuries? Team-fit? Etc. Here's what we have so far:

1. Lebron James
2. Stephen Curry
3. Kevin Durant
4. Russell Westbrook
5. Kawhi Leonard
6. Chris Paul
7. Anthony Davis
8. Paul George
9. James Harden
10. Draymond Green
11. DeMarcus Cousins
12. Blake Griffin
13. Jimmy Butler
14. Klay Thompson
15. Damian Lillard
16. LaMarcus Aldridge
17. Kyrie Irving
18. Carmelo Anthony
19. Kyle Lowry
20. John Wall
21. Karl-Anthony Towns
22. Paul Millsap
23. Marc Gasol
24. Al Horford
25. Dwyane Wade
26. Kevin Love
27. ??

i think we'll stop at 30 unless there are objections

Giannis again, pretty much any GM would take him over Love. Love is a name Giannis is a much better player.

So I guess it goes without saying that Giannis is making the All-Star team next year right

sure because Giannis is younger, cheaper and has more potential.

but RIGHT NOW, contracts, age and upside aside, who is better? Not so clear cut.

Agree with this.

I'm conflicted on this poll, because while Giannis is definitely good does he impact a game as much as DeAndre Jordan due to his rebounding/defense as well as his crazy efficiency?

Going with the only All-NBA 1st Team player left. Prolly underrated at this point but I didn't stick my neck out for him either. His inconsistent defense really turns me off but I feel this is peak DJ and thats worth something.

Cant help but wonder if we're ignoring the value Bigs still have in this league.

I think most GM's would take Whiteside, Drum & The Greek Freak over the other players left on the list.

are there any other players that should be added to the poll?

Crazy that Conley still isn't in the discussion, probably around a top 40 player yet making $31m per year for 5 years!

Kevin Love hasn't been an all-star for years.

But yeah, easily.

this is why i was surprised to see you support the Love idea so early. I don't think Love should have gone until mid 30's.

I voted the Greek Freak, but DeAndre might actually have a case prior to this point.

If they are playing with Lebron they would be useless as well.
