Remember, this is based on RIGHT NOW, not necessarily who was the best this past season, or who will be the best. It's a tricky debate, how much do you factor in the playoffs? Injuries? Team-fit? Etc. Here's what we have so far:

1. Lebron James
2. Stephen Curry
3. Kevin Durant
4. Russell Westbrook
5. Kawhi Leonard
6. Chris Paul
7. Anthony Davis
8. Paul George
9. James Harden
10. Draymond Green
11. DeMarcus Cousins
12. Blake Griffin
13. Jimmy Butler
14. Klay Thompson
15. Damian Lillard
16. LaMarcus Aldridge
17. Kyrie Irving
18. Carmelo Anthony
19. Kyle Lowry
20. John Wall
21. Karl-Anthony Towns
22. Paul Millsap
23. Marc Gasol
24. ??

Why is Towns an option?

Does anyone outside of California really consider Draymond in the top 20?

1) My mistake on Towns since he was already voted on
2) Yes

I am voting Horford, but I also think if the Cavs, and Love, buy into each other, he is still a top 15 talent in the NBA.

Oops my bad :laugh2: i made this thread on my phone earlier

I'm torn between Horford/Hayward; i voted Hayward last thread before the tie-breaker, but i feel like Horford/M.Gasol should go right by each other too

and yes, Love is the greatest talent left on the board. He might get my vote instead

I refuse to believe Love is better than Giannis.

this will be obvious in a few months.

It won't even need to be that long. Giannis has been taking huge leaps into being a better player every season. Now that they found an exploit with Giannis at the PG position, he's a matchup nightmare for any player. You can't put your PG to guard him and if you do, that PG will have to guard a legitimate SF (Jabari), so you basically have to cover your paint and hope Giannis doesn't come attacking and force him to take a jumpshot. I swear, if Giannis had a jumpshot, he'd be the scariest thing outside of LeBron. His freaking euro-step gets him from the free throw line to the basket.

Demar Derozan will out produce many of these guys carry his team to a better record and is improving every year but will probably not get voted in for a while.

And people will still call him overrated.

But then Al Horford is about to get voted in over a playoff dominant player lol.

In what ways did Wade dominate? That is normally for players like Lebron. Wade used to be that guy but not anymore. I wouldn't hate if Wade comes in around 30 though

when was Wade playoff dominant? 2011 was his last really good run. I keep reading that he was dominant last playoffs. He had 4-5 excellent games that pumped big gamescores, inflating his numbers over 14 games, and the rest was pretty meh

He took over our series but thankfully we were able to pull it off. If he would've had one consistent teammate they would've beat us. Not including our series that game 6 against the Hornets was ridiculous to close out the game. I've also seen someone on here say that he led basically every category on offense and defense in the clutch, I looked it up and it actually happened to be true. There's not much better than 2-way dominance in crunch time.

Compared to Horford who averaged 2 RPG in the Cavs series. There's absolutely no reason that should happen, especially to a center. Hell you PG should be able to give you 2 rebounds at the least. I watched Horford a lot this year due to him becoming a free agent and I have to say my opinion of him dropped with almost every game I watched. In no world is Al Horford better than Wade.

You won't hate it when he's playing like a top 20 player for you guys this year either lol. You guys are going to be a lot better than people are projecting.

Being a top player is more then a handful of good games in the playoffs. It's a combo of both.

Another thing also being overlooked is that Wade led the Heat to a 48-34 record and the 3rd seed in the East even after Bosh went out.

No way will he be a top 20 player, and I am VERY worried how my Bulls will be this year. Instead of having one ball dominant guard taking the ball from Jimmy we now have two.

Which is why he's not gonna ever be voted on, but his deficiencies are noticeable

By 3rd I mean 3rd. It doesn't matter what twist you try to put on it its pretty impressive and it was more than Horford could do.

Not really a twist 4 teams had the same record including Horfords ATL. But I actually agree with you that Horford is overrated I just that DD is underrated.

Players make a name for themselves on the big stage. DD continues to underperform for some reason.

DD did better then he gets credit for. He had a couple horrible games especially in the INDY series but as the playoffs went on he had some excellent games.
