Not bad, but how in the hell does Curry get more votes than Marcus Smart?

I feel like Chris Paul and Jimmy Butler got on these lists off of reputation alone.

Is CP3 still defending at that level anymore? I dont understand the criteria. Is he better than someone like Tony Allen?

The problem is the criteria from voter to voter is vastly different.

Some vote on bulk blocks/steals.
Some vote on PER blocks/steals.
Some vote on opponent averages.
Some use advanced stats.

It's why you get such a wide range of players garnering votes.

How do you think Boston almost won 50 games this season? Their defense was elite... between Smart/Bradley/Crowder they might have had the best perimeter defense in the league.

Bradley is a beast on the defensive end.

Danny Green should've gotten more votes than he did too. Probably deserving of 2nd team, but i know that's a long shot with the voters

Good to see Bradley finials get some love. He's always been a pit bull on defense but now he's got the (official) recognition as well. He's come a long way as a player and has become a sold offensive contributor as well.

Scary to think that Marcus Smart could be on that list fairly soon. Must be a nightmare for guards every night against the C's.
