Tuesday May 24th @ 7:10 PM TV: NESN| Radio WEEI 93.9, WCEC 1490

RHP Chad Bettis: 4-2 4.18 ERA 6.75 K/9| 1.93 BB/9| 0.96 HR/9 VS.
LHP David Price: 6-1 5.53 ERA 11.39 K/9| 2.28 BB/9| 0.81 HR/9
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bettis relied mainly on his sinker, with a four-seam fastball and a few cutters mixed in while forcing 11 ground-ball outs in a victory at St. Louis at his last start.

Price: The left-hander will make his 10th start, coming off two good outings after fixing the mechanics of his delivery. The last time out, Price went 7 1/3 innings against the Royals allowing five hits, two runs and one walk with 5 strikeouts.

Wednesday May 25th @ 7:10 PM TV: NESN| Radio WEEI 93.9, WCEC 1490

LHP Jorge De La Rosa 1-3 10.10 ERA 12.39 K/9| 5.31 BB/9| 3.10 HR/9
RHP Steven Wright 3-4 2.52 ERA 7.88 K/9| 3.19 BB/9| 0.50 HR/9

De La Rosa: The lack of command and confidence in his fastball hurt him early this season, when he posted a 10.18 ERA in five starts. He went to the DL with a left groin injury, and worked on his sharpness

Wright: The trusty knuckleballer, holding down a 2.52 ERA, returns to the mount after two consecutive losses. His last time out, Wright suffered a 3-2 loss against the Royals, allowing five hits, three runs and one walk with six strikeouts in eight innings.
Thursday May 26th, 7:10 PM TV: NESN| Radio WEEI 93.9, WCEC 1490
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RHP Jon Gray 1-2 6.75 ERA 10.97 K/9| 2.81 BB/9| 0.56 HR/9
RHP Clay Buchholz 2-4 5.92 ERA 6.10 K/9| 4.18 BB/9| 1.57 HR/9

Gray: After giving up 9 runs in 3 1/3 innings against St Louis in his last start, when he didnít command his fastball or slider, Gray looks to regain his 1.80-ERA form from his previous 3 outings.

Buchholz: The righty took his forth loss of the season against Cleveland on Friday night, allowing 5 hits and 4 runs with 4 walks throughout 6 innings, coming out with a 5.92 ERA. This will be Buchholzís first start against Colorado.

I want to say we sweep but I don't really have any confidence in Buchholz right now. I'd also like to see Travis Shaw come out of his slump.

I'm surprised the Rockies are right around .500. Bogaerts is at 17 game hitting streak now. All the attention has been on Jackie Bradley Jr. but Xander is doing really well too.

Also Price is 7-1 now. He's been better lately, but that goes to show you how little record means in the MLB

With our pitching staff right now any sweep is a gift. The fact that we are winning more than losing is due to our offense.

That's not a bad place to be. I am pretty excited about how this team has come from behind so many times this year. More times than I could have hoped for.

Coming out of the first inning 2+ runs down is getting old though.

I know the knuckleball is hard to catch, but Hanigan has been awful tonight.

It won't last the season.... but Our TEAM'S slash line is .297/.361/.485

Basically our team is producing Dustin Pedroia's current slash line with slightly more power. It is insane

The offence, the bullpen, it's a beautiful thing. Get a legitimate #2 starter in that rotation and we'll run away with not only the division, but the American League.

Swihart & Devers have no future here. Use em' wisely.

Why is Clay Butthole still pitching?

Why do you still post? Lot's of questions that can't be figured out.

E-Rod should replace Clay. I see a DL stint for Clay coming, wouldn't be surprised if he ends as part of a deal for another SP (along with Specs). Kind of how the Cardinals gave us Craig for Lackey.

Despite his performance, he is still easy to move.

Game isn't over, but I knew at some point they would move JBJ to leadoff and that would more likely than not be the end of the streak.... but he will have 1 possibly 2 more at-bats who knows

I really hope John Farrell doesn't put Kelly in the BP. Kelly had a terrific start for being out since April. You have
E-Rod coming back who was brilliant and were all excited to see him pitch. So the question is this, Do you DL Put him in the BP. I say DL. So our roster could look something like this

1. Price
2. Porcello
3. Wright
4. E-Rod
5. Kelly

Cause I can and who the hell are you telling me
I can't post? Are you a mod? No. And he sucks
Has been sucking for the last two years. I have as
much right to post as anyone else. This guy makes
Every excuse in the book and everyone believes him.
And some of you guys are hypocrites cause I'm sure
some of you have thought the same thing.

Yeah, too bad the streak came to an end. He is killing it though.

I don't think Clay will be all that easy to move. If we just want to dump him for nothing, then sure, but we shouldn't have any hope of getting any sort of value back for him. He has been bad for a long time now. It's unfortunate, but time for Rodriguez and a Clay move to long relief.
