The purpose of this topic is to eat some crow. Things we have said publicly on this site and realize we are wrong about. The purpose is to eat crow and not pander to our own ego and make self serving comments.

I'll start:

While I stand by my comments about the Warriors, I have underrated Curry. I didn't think he was as well rounded as he clearly displayed last night. While I am not willing to put him in the upper echelon of all time guards, I am willing to say he is much more than an offensive force and is likely the best player in the league.

This is not something I would have said this time yesterday. When it is all said and done we may be talking about him in the breath as prime Kobe, prime Wade, or prime pick your guard not named Jordan.

I thought Harrison Barnes would take a big step forward this year, but he's taken a big step back. He added to his game, and started the year well, but got hurt and his game just fell apart. I now think he's possibly mentally soft.

Actually most of my mistakes this year were optimistic. I thought things would go better than they did.

I didn't think the Warriors would even win 67 games this year.

I thought the Rockets would take a big step forward.

I thought the Jazz would make the playoffs and really push someone in the first round.

I thought the Celtics would get significantly better.

I thought Chicago would be one of the top seeds in the East.

I thought THIS would be ADs breakout year.

I thought the Bucks would make the playoffs.

I thought Danny Green would finally find consistency ... and he got worse.

I did not think Lillard was a TOP tier PG. i didnt think the blazers would make the play offs.
I didnt think the Warriors would be this good.
I didnt think the Spurs would be this good at all. I thought they would be closer to 55 wins and 1st/2nd round exit. I basically underrate them every single year.
I didnt think the Hornets would make the play offs.
I thought the Nuggets would be much worse this season.
I thought Fournier would sustain his early season success, but i guess it was too much to handle with the way Skiles was using him. Fournier still had a good season, but i expected a little bit more consistency.

I once said curry would be eaten up in the NBA until he was spit out the bottom of the porn industry. I said the same of fredette. 1 of 2 ain't bad.

I'll eat crow on the fact that I thought the Rockets would take us to 7 games.

I have to give props to John Wall. When him and Kyrie came into the league, I thought both of them were PGs that shot too much and couldn't score efficiently enough to be a franchise player, and even expected Wall to be out of the league in a relatively short time (6-7 years).

I still don't have a high opinion of Kyrie, but Wall has proven himself to be one of the best play makers in the league. I still have concerns about his shooting ability and efficiency, but I'm excited to see where he and the Wizards go in the future.

I actually thought before the season that with all their player losses, that Portland would easily be the worst, or one of the worst teams in the league...I was very wrong.

ALL sports forums are embarrassingly wrong about players. Heck some of us are even wrong on how to spell "embarrassingly" :)

I STILL want Young to be a Warrior ... but no, not over Green. :)

I said the Spurs would easily win against the Thunder in 5 despite the matchups problem the Thunder always had created for them.

Thought the Blazers were a lottery team.

Don't remember more.

I thought nobody could save the Cavs. Channing Frye came.

I thought Dwight Howard found a permanent home.

Time for my crow:

1. I thought Wade was sorta done. I thought the intensity of the season would wear him down even more and he wouldn't be able to stay healthy.

I was wrong. Wade is the ****. You can see he wasn't going all out during the regular season. He can't shoot but he's crafty when it comes to scoring within 14 feet.

2. I thought the Pacers would be better than what they were. Maybe it'll take another year to be a top 4 team in the East.

I was def wrong about Portland. I guess I was wrong about my Kings, but that's just me being a Kings fan so that doesn't really count because in my heart I knew they'd suck and Karl wouldn't last. I also didn't think Curry was the best player in the world going into this season. As good as he was last year, I still thought Lebron and Durant were better. I was wrong. Curry is the best.

I called Dwyane Wade a chucker, when I really meant to say he's just a really bad three-point shooter. I'm sorry Wade; you know your limits, and that's why you take 0.6 threes per game.

Shaun Livingston is a chucker too. He took way too many 3s for his %. :)

Was wrong about the sixers sticking with hinkie.
His role kept shrinking until he wanted no part of the job anymore and that's unfourate.

I thought Rudy Gobert was gonna be a top 5 center fthis year and be a DPOY candidate but that certdidnt pan out.

I thought Draymond Green was the most overrated player in the NBA and he may still be just not as much as I thought.

I thought Cleveland was overrated and those feelings were reinforced when Blatt was fired but since then they are a team that looks possessed.

I thought Wade was done but clearly he isn't even close to done. He's playing like he's 26.

I didn't think the Eastern Conference would be this pathetic and that Pistons/Hawks would take some games away from Cleveland but clearly I was way too hopeful.

I thought Portland would be bad and miss the playoffs.
I thought the Rockets would have been neck and neck with the ClippersGrizzlies if not the Thunder in the standings.
I thought New Orleans would be a playoff team (although those injuries are something no one can predict).
I thought Phoenix, Dallas and Utah would battle for the final spot.

So, basically, I thought the West would go:
1 GS
2 SAS
3 OKC
4/5/6 Houston/LAC/Grizzlies
7 Pelicans
8 Mavs/Phoenix/Utah

I was sorta right if you switch the Blazers as the Rockets seed and the Rockets as one of those "fighting for the 8 spot" teams. And the Grizz were on pace until the injuries. Oh, and you'd have to disregard the Suns and Pelicans altogether.

That's not too shabby.

****ing Spurs. I said spurs in 5. I'm pissed. I probably would have said spurs in 7 if sports radio didn't get in my head and I always assume the Spurs are a little better then I give them credit for in my head. ****ing Spurs.

I am eating crow this season for K Love being a useful complimentary player to ease the workload of Lebron in the playoffs which I didn't expect. Lue even noted he had help as well and I see it with my own eyes as they sweep the Hawks with ease. I also need to eat crow that OKC beat the Spurs in the post season as I thought we were certain to face Pop instead. I an somewhat upset as the Dubs will not be facing the best team and we should win this in 5 as oppose to a possible 7 games against the mighty Spurs.

As far as my Dubs, I have not been wrong and been on point on all the players including taken Curry when he constantly hurt over Monta who was the only star on the team years ago before Curry sign his first contract extension with the team and NOT ONCE did I thought it was too much when many posters thought it was back then :(.
