We gotta sweep The Grizz and get as much rest needed for OKC, So I'm saying Spurs in 4 but won't be shocked if we lose 1 game.

Heard some ESPN guys talking about Pop resting the oldsters in this series :)

Really the most lopsided series in the first round. It would be amazing if the Griz win one.

Spurs in 2

Without Gasol and Conley, I just can't see this team competing in any meaningful way against the Spurs.

Sweep.

1 win would surprise me and likely most of the world tho. Just looking at the stats, this should be one of the most lopsided affairs in playoff history (is it too much hyperbole to suggest this is true outside of just the nba?)
Ignoring the stats, it's a team of miscasts and d leaguers vs a historically elite team.... 1 game would be a disappointment on the hands of the Spurs. To the point where i would write them off completely. Spurs need to take care of business and win every game by double digits

Man, this matchup sucks, I really wanted a Mavs - Spurs series with the Grizz taking on the Clips to at least have some rivalry going. BOOOORING. Spurs in 4.

Same here. It was so close to happening but the refs screwed them vs GS

Agreed just like our 1st round series which will be a cake walk. Ever game will be over early where Pop will rest his Big 3 for the 4th quarter and we will rest Curry for the 4th quarter

The 2 series parley win for these two teams (doesn't matter how many games they lose in the series as long as they win it) is you get free beer for a $500 bet in Vegas, since you win $7 bucks after the juice. I would take that cause there is no way either of these team will lose their first round matchup, trust me on this

Yea a super sweep the only thing pop should look for is injury especially since the grizz are full of unstable crazy *** players.

In your mind who are Pop's "Big 3"?

I'll be thrilled if the grizz get 1 victory. A injury riddled season that grizz fans want to forget.

They should put in Marjanovic and give him some playing time as the game is pretty much concluded, he's been a beast for them with limited minutes.

Sucks man.. definitely wish you guys were healthy. Probably would've been higher in the seedings anyway.

Boban has the be the most efficient player in the league. Every time I watch a Spurs game, he scores.

Just checked the numbers 10 minutes, 6 points. That appears to be easy work for him.

Hes very skilled for his size. Still a few fundamental things he has to work on, but he's got a pretty polished game

All that and he almost single-handedly disproves the big-hands-hurt-free-throw-shooting theory.

Grizz have legit three guys that shouldn't even be in the nba next year (farmar, Birdman, pj Hairston) and two of them start! What a frustrating season

Grizzlies should be banned for a decade. This series is incredibly boring.

What's funny is even if the Grizz were healthy, people would still call it a boring series, much like the WCF a few years back. It just isn't a fair fight. I almost wish for their sake they dropped out and Utah made it. But they fought and kept their playoff spot

I wish Utah was in the playoffs instead of the Rockets/Grizzlies. It's about time we get a young team that actually competes. Thankfully the second round will be historic.

A bump is a lot different that trying to dislocate someone's shoulder

Lol.. reputation and history matters.

Sure, but that's kinda the point. Where did green and boguts "reputation" come from? Neither are dirty players, neither have ever attempted to intentionally put any other player at risk for injury. The rep comes from these exact type of plays like we saw from kawhi, the haters come out and jump on the "he tried to hurt him" wagon.

And look at, I could not write a more perfect example if I tried. This guy above me is referencing when Bogut and Howard were tied up and Bogut fouled him. There's absolutely no reason to think anything dirty on that play. We can see the example from loves injury last yr, if someone is going to injure someone there is a very specific action that needs to take place, that action being twisting ur body to bend the arm with force. Bogut absolutely didn't do this in the slightest, yet multiple people said that play was dirty and that he wanted to hurt dwights arm. If he WANTED to, he would have, but he didn't because that's not what he was trying to do. Pretty simple, really.

Anyway, really just wanted to point that out for possible future reference, lol, I don't wanna hijack

They're not my enemy and i admire Pop and how their team goes about their business with class and showmanship. None of this cockiness you see with other contenders like the Rox, Thunder and our team more or less. It doesn't bother me but sometimes I wish we were a little more boring in how we go about things like the Spurs. If I was a player, I might rather join the Spurs then the Warriors because it fits my personality more. Playing alongside with Steph would probably intimidate me and that whole eating dinner with the team and staff singing shambala all season long as their so called secret weapon seem weird to me:laugh2: but they are my team as a fan and will root for them to win no matter who they face:clap:
