An ATG. A legend. An icon. A PSD nightmare. Greatness in physical form.

May his jersey be retired, a statue be erected like SHAQ, and may he be revered and worshiped on PSD, and all over the universe until the end of time!

All Hail the Bean! Couldn't have scripted a better, more Kobe ending. There will never be another like him

Love him or hate him but you can't deny he was special and I enjoyed watching his career, I was 13 yeard old when he was drafted, time flies.

Amazing career. I witnessed the rookie, the #8, the #24, the championship. As a lakers fan this was an amazing time with Kobe. He was the only sports player I followed for the last 20 years. I'm going to miss him. Love him or hate him, he is in the top 3 all time...

Why is Lebron tagged? What a troll.

Always thought Kobe was a jerk and a lot of his fans are douchebags but even I have to admit, his last few games have been fun to watch and that was a nice send off. And 60 to close out a career is pretty special.

I appreciate the fact the Celtics have one less championship because Kobe and his Lakers beat the Celtics in 7 games. Always nice to see Boston lose. One of the most annoying sports fanbases around.

Kind of like the Heat fan base when Lebron came and left. Lol. At least Boston is legit, the Heat will probably not win one for a long while

Didn't know this is a Miami LeBron topic? I just named a moment I enjoyed and why I enjoyed it. I am taking a break from the Kobe criticisms to just talk about something he did that I enjoyed.

And no one knew it was a "Bash the Celtics" topic, either.

Are you Lakers fan? I ask because there is no way you can be and have shaq ahead of Kobe as greatest laker. The only person in the conversation with Kobe is Magic, and that can go either way in my book

He's now WAY over-appreciated.

He's a Laker fan and a fan of whoever is currently the best team in he league. When the Warriors come back down to earth he'll hop off their bandwagon and latch on to someone else's.

Never been a Laker guy but it's hard to argue against someone who stayed for 20 years and won 5 titles over guys that bumped around and won less.

My favorite Kobe thing wasn't even on the court.

My senior year of HS, for lacrosse we played Lower Merion, and he was in town to play the Sixers (early 2000's). He came to the game, and after he said hi, shook hands, and did a short speech to both teams. Really cool of him to do that.

Do you disagree about Shaq? Why? Because he didn't spend as long with the org?

Kobe's career beggined when the Bulls Won 72-10 back in 96-97

And it ended with the Warriors winning 73-9 in 15-16.

Only player to experience both records, pretty remarkable
