I hope they get to 71, but doubt they lose to Memphis. @SAS is the only game left they could really lose.

i don't and i actually like almost everyone on this team. I was a big fan of both Klay and Curry in college, I love Iggy, was a big fan of Barnes in college (i actually think he is overrated now, but i still like him), I like Bogut, and Green has totally won me over. That said coverage is annoying. I mean people think Steve Kerr is a shoe in HOFer

That actually would be cool uf they do it, the pistons will be remembered as one of their losses lol.

Were all their losses against middling to weak teams?

Also, i always love seeing any record get broken.

Only legit team I can think of that beat them was spurs and blazers

Sure, but I think the poll needs an I don't care option...because honestly I don't care one way or the other if they do....a good poll accounts for all possible options

I don't really want them to, though I don't feel strongly at all either way.

I like them, and think they're great. I just don't want to hear casual fans hopping on their nuts like they're the greatest team of all time and Curry is the GOAT. Those types of discussions are always so premature. The regular season is still on. The playoffs aren't here yet, and Curry still has plenty of years of great basketball left. People need to chill. Even this cross-generational comparisons talk, and talk about how crap this generation is (which is a bs argument) is annoying.

... or maybe I just don't want the Spurs to lose at home ;)

The difference between that Bulls team and this Warriors team is that the Bulls would blow out the bad teams and rest their players in the 4th quarter. These Warriors seem to let bad teams play with them until the very end, thats what happens when you don't have a good defense. This is why the 96' Bulls team would sweep or win 4 out of 5 against the Warriors. But the Warriors play hard against the elite teams so once the playoffs start they should be able to win all of their series.

Wrong.. I'm pretty sure the Warriors have blown out more teams and rested their starters in the 4th quarter more than the Bulls did

Hellz no!! But it wont matter if they dont win the championship. They are damn good though. You look at their losses this year and they could have easily blown past this record to be honest. I think half of their losses have been to bad teams, Lakers for example.

I was going to say the same thing. Warriors are always resting their starters in yhe 4th.

Just for comparisons sake, I'm pretty sure jordan played a good 4 minutes more a game than curry.

Not something you would expect if the bulls were "resting their players", while the warriors let everyone stay close.

no, there is something about that record, for a team who won 6 tittles, with Jordan.

i just dont think that this team for the wariors is close to that good, 6 titles, i think they will slowly fade back to being human shortly after this years finals. i just think they live off 3pt shooting to much, and are nowhere near tough enough to dominate like the bulls did for years.

Yes because it is taking too long for people to get on board with Curry as the best in the world.

the officiating helped the bulls a lot, curry has gotten rocked more times in the last week without a whistle blown than Jordan did during all 3 yrs and playoff runs of the second 3 peat. LOL infact- sometimes defenders would play legit defense on jordan and he got the whistle.

Quit being salty.

Both teams are great, get over it. Seriously, doubt you even watch the Warriors if that's all you sum the team up to be. They just beat one of the greatest defensive teams and stopped an incredible home streak. They can score points in the paint and play relentless defense. With all the young talent surrounding this organization, what makes you think this team will lose that edge? Sounds like wishful thinking.

After putting together two of the best regular season in nba history, winning back to back titles you think they'll start to come down to earth? You realize Curry, Draymond and Klay are all in there prime or near there prime. You dont constantly hear that other teams are starting to build there teams to specifically beat the Warriors? Doesnt sound like there gonna fade to me.

I want them to break the record and they will, the game @SA was a real test for them and they took it, SA was undefeated at home before last night.

I'm 33 years old, and I didn't think I would witness a team who would break this 72-10 record, props to the warriors they've been amazing all year long, even in NBA 2K I didn't win more than 60 games in my whole life.

I wasn't really sure because it meant breaking the Spurs home streak. I found myself rooting for the Spurs last night a bit more (72 win season facing undefeated at home Spurs team). Now I want them to get the 73rd win though.

Wouldn't that be something? He should go for it honestly. The team is awful and it's his final game. Tell the rest of the team to force feed Kobe and he just shoots every time he touches the ball. 101 pts on 80 shots. Do it Kobe!!!

Ha ha! From all reports of the game that's pretty much how Wilt got the record. They were force feeding him the ball and he was doing his fair share of cherry picking. I don't think it will happen, but if Kobe got even close to his own record the Staples crowd would go nuts.

valade16

Given how bad Kobe is shooting this season, I don't think he could crack 81 points if he took every single shot in a game.

How fitting the team that broke the Bulls record is the same team/franchise that MJ broke his foot against back in 1985. 10/29/85 Bulls vs Warriors (Michael Jordan 12 pts)

Thursday morning everyone will forget about that Bulls team

I dont think you would forget a team that won 70+ games and won the title especially with the MVP and guy many consider the GOAT on it. The thing is the Warriors need to win the title otherwise they will be like every other team in the major sports. Hold the record for most wins in a regular season but don't win the title that season. In football, hockey and baseball none of the teams that won the most games in a season ended up winning the title that season.
