The Trailblazers are making the most of previous bench-warmers (http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.ssf/2016/04/trail_blazers_clinch_western_conference_playoff_be .html).
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, they are the first team in the history of the NBA to make the playoffs while returning two or fewer players who played at least 1,000 minutes the previous season (Chris Kaman and Damian Lillard).

Neil Olshey should probably get executive of the year for the draft picks and free agents he's picked up to put this roster of overachievers together.
The Blazers were pegged to finish last in the west but currently sit on the fifth seed in the playoffs. They're one of fewer than 10 teams to beat the Warriors. I just hope free agents take note and see Portland as a place to win.

And Chris Kaman hasn't really played at all. The only real piece that is the same in the same role is Lillard.
