ATL-CHI looked like the best game of the day ... until they played. Has Chicago given up? They looked defeated and exhausted in the 2nd qtr.

I hope Dallas or Houston can grab the 7th spot. Would make travel in a possible 1st round matchup much easier lol

I guess I'd rather Dallas get in than Houston but it doesn't really matter.

Chicago being out at the moment is strange ... I don't think either the Bulls or Wiz can catch Detroit.

Yea, both teams are definitely struggling. But I never underestimate a team getting hot for a series. Losing Parsons for the Mavs seems to have hurt them, and Houston has been seemingly dysfunctional the better part of the year.

It'll be interesting to watch down the stretch between those 2, and Portland/Utah, and even Memphis who are on a 3 game losing streak and don't exactly have an easy schedule remaining to close out the year. Memphis could realistically drop out. They've just been decimated with injuries

Curry doesn't seem to be the same efficient guy he's been all year lately. Any chance it's fatigued, or just a slump? Idk what kind of looks he's been getting, admittedly I'm going off box scores the last few games.

Probably a little bit of both, but just as you say that he goes off lol. Thompson has been lighting it up lately though.

His legs were tired and he was pressing because of the Spurs.

I really think he was pressing a little ... he's never beaten the Spurs in San Antonio in the regular season, he was playing without Iguodala, and the Spurs were being very aggressive. I think he was pressing and it messed up his shot a little. He seems to be back in the groove now though.

Other than the Sixers, I don't know if there's a team that can collapse so quickly like the Knicks. What happened in the 4th quarter was an absolute joke.

Heat gotta win out to reach that 10-1 record you think they could do in the last 11 games.

Don't see it happening. Lots more losses coming up if they can't beat the Lakers.

I figured guys would come out ready to play. The Rooks and Joe were garbage. I'm fine with not finishing 10-1. You need to be worried about whether or not yall are going to be able to beat us in a series and what your plans will be post LeBron when he leaves his summer.

Warriors next 6 games...

Portland @ home
TWolves @ home
Spurs @ home
@ Grizz
@ Spurs
Grizz @ home

I think they have a very good shot of winning 5 games. The Blazers and the Wolves are horrendous on the road.

The big game, will the one at home against the Spurs. That's the one that I think will determine it. If they lose that one they can kiss the record goodbye. I think they'll split with the Spurs and win the rest. But man, that loss the Lakers is really coming back to haunt them. That was a horrific loss.

They could also tie the record with only two losses which is pretty good, but you want to break the record.

Not thrilled....we needed BOS to lose but I guess it's pretty cool to see them give GS their first loss. Shocked it happened, but I'm sure Warriors fans would tell you they saw it coming. I could sort of see it, given they've been going through the motions for weeks (typical of title favorites in an 82-game regular season). Boston's a very well coached team, and the players show it. Great win for them.

I hate Boston, but I am glad the Warriors lost at home. I also want the Warriors to lose enough games not to break the record. Boston pulled off one of the unlikely upsets ever in NBA regular season history. They just lost to the Blazers and came out to play tonight. Refs + Warriors will win 99% of the time. Today was the 1%.

I think Green gets away with more fouls then any player in the league. Little big men are always allowed to body up more plus he has a great defensive rep and is on the best team ever. I didn't used to think he is was an all NBA type player and i was a dumbass for thinking it but he does get away with a lot of fouls. I was happy when he turned it over on the other end- ball dont lie. I was also hyper impressed with the way Curry found Barnes in the corner right after that.

as far as the Warriors go- I a lot of talk about there TOs tonight and think they are really interesting b/c they seem to make all there TOs with lose passing. I feel like i never see a Warrior drive into traffic or over dribble. It seems like a philosophy. Of course they don't want as many TOs as they had tonight but think they are more willing to throw he ball away if it keeps the ball moving.

LMAO people talking about the W's and the record in danger, their games are vs Portland, vs Wolves, vs Spurs (I'm sure Pop will rest his stars), at Grizzlies (against ZBo and the DLeaguers, 100% respect to them and the coach but it's the truth  ), at Spurs (again, I'm sure Pop will rest some of his guys), and then vs Grizzlies.

That's a pretty favorable schedule if they want the record and Spurs rest their guys. Only dangerous game assuming Spurs will rest is the Blazers one.

Dray get away with everything, including ****ing with the refs too, he argues about everything and get called for T's very little. (He deserves more T's than that is what I'm trying to say).

The Celtics tho... Any East team that play them in the 1st round is going to have their hands full, they defend very well (especially on the perimeter), are very well coached and play team ball, people talk about the need of a star to close games but IT is a guy that can get you out of hard situations (or put you there too).

How about Lebron Post All-Star stats?

25.2PPG on 53% FG% and 33% 3P%, 8.3RPG, 7.2APG and 1.4SPG

Pretty good, I think he had 2 or 3 triple doubles too and a couple of close calls like yesterday.

Really strong "playoff-like" game by LeBron against Atlanta. Only shot 46%, but that's not TOO bad considering he was 1/5 from 3pt range. 29/16/9 is pretty dope.

The East playoffs is gonna be REEEALLY good this year, from the 1st round on. The West playoffs will hike up in the semis. Then that WCF should be the juggernaut series.

That makes zero sense. How does shooting poorly from 3 enhance ones fg%? That's literally the exact opposite of what i would think. If you're shooting poorly from 3 then you have to make up for the loss of efficiency in other ways and 46% shooting overall doesn't sound impressive. The rest of the line sounds great tho

LeBron doesn't shoot them much because he's a poor 3pt shooter. I distinctly remember two of the threes being at the end of the shot clock. Another was done just because.

My point is he played really well when playing within the confines of his own game (which is more of what you'll see come playoffs). It's easy to look at the 46% and assume he struggled a bit to play his game, which wasn't the case at all.

Makes sense?

46% overall isn't impressive, but he did sort of make up for his poor 3 pt shooting in other wats didn't he?

He was 11/21 52% from 2. I think what he was trying to say is the poor FT shooting dragged his overall FG% down.

I agree with T-Mac here. The fact that Durant is at 3rd place when his teammate is 2nd and have been outplaying him is ridiculous. Lebron is the Cavs, we know what happens when he doesn't play, we know what happens when he plays even when Love or Irving are out. He sould be top 2 or 3.
