What a start for the Spurs. 11 seconds into the 2nd quarter and Charlotte calls a timeout. The Spurs are the last team you want to start out flat against. Cleveland off to a good start also.

Yea they have. But having a big lead should mean a win, this late in the season. I don't think they've given up a big lead all year so maybe I shouldn't care too much. but I've been spoiled and have high standards lol

I kind of know what you mean ... these last 2 years it's been reminding me of being a 49ers fan in the 80s. Winning isn't just expected, dominance is expected. Perfection is expected. The Warriors have won 118 (IIRC) straight games where they have had a 15 point lead ... but one of these days they will lose that lead.

Dwight Howard:
To Kareem "I'm not stupid"
After losing in the WCF "I'm still a champion"
and now after being caught and admonished for cheating "I've never been a cheater"

It's pretty clear he wants out of Houston, but which team is he going to go to where they play inside out and he'll get the 14 shots a game he thinks he deserves?

Weren't the Warriors trying to sign him after he left L.A? Amazing how one free agent signing could change the entire future of that franchise.

This Warriors front office believe they should talk to every top free agent. Myers has said he had no expectation of being able to sign Howard or Iguodala that offseason. He also said that until they know a player is an option they don't decide if they want him just because of the way free agent timing works. Don't know if it's true or not.

The Warriors also made a big play for DeAndre Jordan.

I'm happy the Warriors got neither.

Not picking a side or anything, just find it illustrative of the "value" of defensive rebounding numbers ... DJ has 16 defensive boards (and 2 offensive) in the middle of the 3rd but the small Warriors are out rebounding the Clippers by 1 overall and equal on defensive boards.

The Jazz are under-rated. They need another player or 2 to contend, they are being well run and well coached and are going to get the time to develop as a team, they get Exum back next year, and they have 14 picks in the next 3 drafts.

Glad to see Giannis finally get the opportunity. Always thought he should have handled the offense. He's just too talented to not have the ball more. Took the Bucks two seasons to see that.. and it's paying off for them. This kid will be a top ten player within two years. Hard to say what his ceiling is because he needs to develop a shot still but wow, that length is amazing.

Nets up 5 in the 4th? What?

Cavs (except Lebron) didn't play hard at all. Nets played really hard and got all the 50/50 balls.

By the time we went all out (15 point swing ), we started missing a ton of open shots. We shot 19% in the 4th (4/21 or something like that) and the Nets were able to win.

Classic 'mess around and then try to win at the end' kinda game.

If the Cavs play a full game of intensity (as expected in the playoffs) we'd win games like this by 8 or so points.

The Warriors usually get up for going against good teams ... they don't take the Heat lightly, but the Heat give them all they can handle. But the Heat can't compete with the Spurs. Some teams match up better than others.

They should have to do a press conference after each game... With a 100ft monitor right next to them and the reporter asking the question can go back to the exact play (re-wind and pause and all); and question them on a particular play.

In this case, it was warranted. They'd just be shown replays of Lowry jawing at the officials all game and Derozan yelling, getting a tech, then immediately cursing out the official.

They probably wouldn't be as quick to dismiss the blown calls Dwight should have got, though.
