Ty Lawson is officially a Pacer (http://www.prosportsdaily.com/articles/ty-lawson-agrees-to-deal-with-pacers-398886.html). Indiana will drop Chase Budinger to make room for Lawson.
I don't really get this from the Pacer's viewpoint. Why would you want a back court of Monta Ellis and Lawson? Indiana might as well roll out the welcoming mat to opposing back courts.

George Hill is the only thing keeping the perimeter respectable in Indy. Monta is Monta, and Paul George gets an incredulous look on his face as he gets beat off the dribble at least twice a game. Rodney Stuckey being back will probably help a lot, but PG's been complaining about the 3pt defense lately. Lawson isn't going to help with that.

I can't wait to see Lawson and Ellis on the court together LMFAO.

Awful fit. Lawson doesn't play any D. Larry Bird makes good and bad decisions that form into the 2015/2016 Pacers.

Lawson is officially a Pacer, and Indiana's starting back court if Lawson starts over George Hill is a combined 12 feet, 2 inches, 4 inches shorter than their existing undersized back court. I don't really know what Pritchard is thinking. Indiana basically has two combo guards who can't play defense.

Report: Ty Lawson agrees to deal with Pacers
Ty Lawson has reportedly agreed to sign with the Pacers.
Lawson will report to the team on Sunday, so he could make his Indiana debut as soon as Tuesday's game against the 76ers. Lawson is expected to be George Hill's backup and fill a sixth man role for the team. This is far from an ideal landing spot for Lawson, and with how bad he's been during the 2015-16 season, owners in most leagues can use a wait-and-see approach here.

This would have been fantastic 4 years ago.

The Pacers need offense badly. They should push for Kevin Martin if they're serious about making strides in this postseason.

I like the pick-up for them. Lawson will have a chance to show out in the east. Smart move on both sides.

Hope he plays well but at same time it'd be a little aggravating.

He was so passive and tentative. We shall see.

Indiana's starting back court, if Ty Lawson starts, will be a combined 12 feet, 2 inches, still 4 inches shorter than their already undersized back court. They get more offense, but Monta Ellis and Lawson are fairly defenseless. I guess as long as he's cheap...

Best of luck. Maybe Vogel can get a rise out of him on defense.

Why would they start a player who was cut from another team? He's going to be a backup and try to rehab his career.

Like I said, as long as he's cheap.

Let's see what he can do with an actual competent coach. Sucked that he didn't work out here in Houston, best of luck TY.

he won't start. I don't know why anyone would think he would start over Hill. Hill is a legit starting PG. He will get a shot to play off the bench. He'll likely start be taking Joe Young mins and they will see what he can do. man what a terrible move.... please :)

Haven't y'all noticed that him being sober leads to his Houston production. Give me Drunk Denver Lawson
