Crappy break for Den they probably could have got a lot for him at deadline, good break for Raps though, they get either NY or Den pick this year and both teams seem to be going down at the end of this season

Danilo Gallinari has torn two ligaments in his right ankle.

Gallinari suffered the injury on Sunday.

The Nuggets received several trade calls on Gallinari ahead of the deadline but they reportedly were "building around" him instead of "trading him."

Gallinari was averaging a career best 19.6 points per game this season to go with 5.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists with a PER of 19.2.

Gallinari has undergone multiple procedures on the ACL in his left knee and tore the meniscus in his right knee last season.

I hate the term "injury prone" but ... DG seems to be.

Damn, bad hit.

He was who I wanted the Celtics to target most at the deadline. He's a stud.

Damnit, what a shame. He was having such a good year after missing extended time, just can't catch a break. He's a baller and could do really well on the right team. Just hope he comes back fine after this, seems like he hits setbacks every time he's playing well.

He's only 27, but how many of these situations can he come back from? He might soon have to take it easier, and become a talented reserve on a contender playing 20 to 30 minutes per game.
