Dunleavy still as dirty as ever. Can't stand that bum.

If Rose made jumpers against everyone as much as he makes them on us he'd be a hall of famer.

Bulls always wanna get scrappy with us.

The Bulls are just a hopeless mess of a team...

They have absolutely no depth. I know Jimmy Butler and Mirotic are injured. But the role players just didn't step up. It doesn't look good going forward.

This would be a fun first round matchup to watch. Curry vs Lillard? Lillard is playing with a chip on his shoulder for being snubbed

Warriors got destroyed by the Blazers tonight. Do not want to sound bitter, but one of the weaker 50 point performances I have seen in a while. Lillard had a legit 40, but after that the Warriors threw in the towel, Lillard beat up on Warrior third stringers. They could have rested him, but chose to let him get garbage time stats instead.

Lillard I think tied Kobe for quickest to 50 point game ever, pretty sure it was 51 in 31 mins or something like that. That's pretty cray.

Edit: actually he broke kobes record, hit 50 14 seconds quicker

Not trying to hate, but he did get his last 10+ or so against a line up of: Ian Clark, Leandro Barbosa, Brandon Rush, Kevon Looney, and Jason Thompson.

Warriors goy destroyed. Media needs to take it down a notch. They're not all that, and Blazers (The Blazers!) just proved it. Huge showing by Lillard, unconscionable, on his own level out there. Get him some help! Dude's dropping 50 should be on contending teams.

Watching my Blazers take GS to the woodshed was awesome. The downside is if we play them in the 1st round they are going to be WAY more focused to ensure they don't lose than they would have been.

Hey you never know. Could be like the 07 warriors against the Mavs haha...

But they play 2 more times this season right? I'm sure they'll have it marked next time they play.

One regular season loss doesn't change anything. Warriors are still the heavy favorites and are playing at a historic level.

They're still human though, and the West is so tough that other teams (like the Thunder/Spurs/Clippers) still can knock them off.

Klay and Curry managed to get their season averages (in points and FG%), but the Blazers did everything they could to take away all those extra points by Barnes, Bogut, Iggy, etc...

The Pistons did the same thing when they beat the Dubs.

At this point the only thing you can try to do it limit the points by the roleplayers and have a strong offensive game.

I actually think it was one of the best 50 point performances ever . the shots from 3 he was making was ridiculous regardless of who was on the court . he also dropped the 50 in about 31 minutes which is very impressive

Forgot to mention the dude had 6 steals with ZERO turnovers , that is a really efficient game

This. Stop hating.

Blazers are just proving everyone wrong, I thought they would be very bad and they are surprising everyone on the West. Lillard got snubbed from the ASG and this is his response. A Blazers vs Warriors 1st round matchup would be "vewy vewy" good. Watching Lillard vs Steph and Steph trying to defend Lillard would be amazing.

Warriors at Clippers! Its about to go down!

If the Clippers see themselves as a serious threat out West, this is a game they need to go out & make a statement. Especially with GS coming off a loss and looking to get back in the win column.

Let's see what LAC is made of.

Both teams complain a lot, Dray and Iggy on one side, CP3 and Pierce on the other side. Oh and let's not forget the catalysts, Doc and Kerr.

You can't say this is the game the Clippers need to prove they are for real or contenders when they have one of their best players out.

If you go to the HEAT forum you will see me saying this all over again. :D

Wade with Dragic = Wade have the ball, slow paced half-court offense, Dragic struggles.

Wade sits = Dragic have the ball, more fast paced offense, Dragic shines.

We are old, but I think Wade can still thrive in a fast paced offense. We play good in the Dragic's Phoenix pace, we need that.

After watching the last two games, I can't imagine the Heat going back to a half court offense. Wade will simply have to adjust and play the fast paced style, otherwise they'll struggle and won't get anywhere.

Yea, it was gonna be tough without Blake. He can play the 5 if need be to match their smaller lineup. And if they can get Green integrated quickly, he can really add some more versatility with different lineups

Not really. The Clips starting unit was down the whole game and the Dubs were blowing them out 115-99. Both teams emptied their benches and LAC's came in and caught fire, but GS was firmly in control all game.

Agreed.. If we didn't bench the starters at the end it would've ended with a good lead. I don't see the Clippers being one the teams to beat the Dubs in a series imo.

I hope Durant and Westbrook leave OKC as soon as possible because the organization is so bad. They clearly don't have a shot at a championship while having two top 5 players in the league. I don't think it's possible to build a team around them any worse than that. The Cavs just blew them out without Kyrie, Williams, Shumpert and Frye. OKC would be lucky to win one game against the Warriors or Cavs in a seven game series. It's that bad.

Oh and Dion Waiters shouldn't be in the NBA.

SteBO
02-21-2016, 08:42 PM
Meh I still think OKC has a legit shot. In my opinion, that game was more about the Cavs. They've won 5 straight now, and their offense is so much more free flowing and fluid. Their role players stepped up, and LBJ and Love were both great. That's as impressive a win as you're gonna find in this league. 23 point blowout on the road is no joke, especially against a healthy OKC team.

Dion Waiters does suck though, and he's too much about himself offensively. It's why CLE traded him.

Yea I agree. Teams have their ups & downs during the regular season. I do think Donovan has to do a better job of his in game adjustments, and late game execution plays. But there's still time left to clean up some of that stuff

Plus he's a rookie. I think Donovan has a chance to be pretty good head coach in this league. What DanG posted about the FO moves was on point though. They traded Harden away to save $$$, and the guy they got in Kevin Martin they let go in a year either via trade or FA, not sure which one (flashbolt can help me here if he wishes). Long story short, the front office kinda did fail KD and Westbrook. That being said, they're 3rd in the West and along with SAS have the best chance of knocking off GSW. Can't wait for the 2nd round of the playoffs in the West. At the current pace, it's looking like GSW v. LAC and SAS v. OKC.

That block on Clarkson by Rose was Earth shattering.

Portland beat Utah. They are 14-3 in their last 17. Currently 7th in the West and only 1/2 game back of Dallas.

Absolutely on fire. I have no idea how they've been playing this good.

Not to mention Memphis possibly pit falling... They could get as high as 5.

I mean, several intriguing matchups for me...

-A matchup potentially with Lillard/McCollum vs Curry/Thompson would be a lot of fun to watch
-Lillard and Blazers going against LMA/Spurs (no one saw that coming)
-Lillard vs Westbrook would also be great to watch

6-9 are so tight right now... It'll be fun to watch down the stretch

Dame and McCollum are already one of the best backcourts on the NBA after 80% of a season played. That's incredible, there's so much room to grow. I would love to see a Dame & McCollum vs Splash Bro's playoff series.

And watching the Cavs vs Thunder game, I have to agree with the ownership blaming. I obviously haven't watched lots of Thunder games, but I can see that Ibaka is seriously overrated on D he has 0 post defense, goes for every damn pump fake and fouls easy. On the other end he has become a jump shooter who shoots 6 to 12 shots a game.

Waiters, Waiters, Waiters... That dude is so bad, damn.

Adams and Payne are solid but can't give you a lot.

Kanter is a potato with good offense and rebounding. That's it.

As much as I said Westbrook and Durant need to share the ball more, their team is a bad constructed team. A shame.
