The Suns say guard Eric Bledsoe had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee today and will miss the rest of this season.

This guy is one hell of an injury prone.

He missed 40+ games 3 seasons out of his 6 seasons as a pro.

I'm a fan of his game. I love two-way players who pass and rebound. I feel if he was able to stay healthy and get a few full seasons in, he'd be a top 10 PG in the league. This is terrible news... :(

Sucks for Bledsoe. Every likes pitbull players like him.

Shame he got stuck on a ****** suns team with a terrible FO. They need a high pick desperately. That roster is a mess.

Yes 100%. I hope he comes back strong.

I'm hoping oladipo becomes the next bledsoe but stays healthy

What happened to the suns medical staff? They were like Wizards back in the day.

Good thing we didn't trade our pick for him.

Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Skiles got him coming off the bench smh

And still he's been bad offensively. This isn't on Skiles. Skiles is actually making him come off the bench so that Oladipo can thrive. When Oladipo is in the starting line up the ball movement isn't as good and spacing is bad. He was benched for Frye who has been really really good for us. Frye gives us the spacing we need and moves the ball really well. He's like 11th in the entire league in RPM. Advanced stats love him, and for good reason.
Oladipo comes off the bench he can come in and do his thing, Skiles doesn't call a lot of plays for him.

Still I'm not sure what's wrong with oladipo. He's been terrible lately. He's been fine handling the ball and he's been excellent finding the big men for easy assists off a midrange jumpshot. Defense started off elite, and dropped off since the Hawks game. His 3pt shot just isn't going in. Not terribly off, but they're just not going in. That happens to players sometimes, Danny green isn't a 31% shooter, and oladipo isn't a 26% 3pt shooter. He gets to the rim, but has had trouble finishing. Its like he isn't as ferocious attacking the basket. Its like when he drives he's thinking about other options. It's affected the way he drives. I still believe in him though I think he turns it around soon. He probably won't ever be a very efficient player, and sometimes he will miss open shooters on the perimeter, but I still believe he can be a very good two way player who can shut down opposing guards. I think its mostly mental right now. I doubt he struggles for long. He's already proven to be a better finisher and shooter than he's been. Once his confidence picks up he'll go back to being an elite defender too IMO.

He's more or less the face of the Suns franchise and with him going down like this Phoenix may as well tank their season on purpose to hopefully get Ben Simmons in the NBA Draft

I'm curious if the Suns are willing to trade Brandon Knight for assets seeing as they have no way to compete for a playoff spot now.

Also, would they include Tyson Chandler? Alex Len seems to be more productive with his time on the court at this point.

No way they trade knight , nowhere near his prime. Bledsoe More on his way out next season

If Bledsoe does leave Phoenix I mean it begs the question of where he ends up

If that is true it is either you get rid of one or the other but just who to get rid of? Personally I would get rid of Brandon Knight but that is just my opinion because Bledsoe is a former All Star and not to mention statistics wise he is more of an asset to the Suns than Knight is
