There are a few more games, once I get home I'll add the last few.

Took 3 minutes into the games for a bucket in the Sixers-Bulls game :laugh2:

Jerami Grant with 3 blocks in a 1minute span.

The block that started it:

Don't adjust your settings:
Sixers up on the Bulls 56-51 at the half.

Big Jah with 16 on 7-12 shooting.

I think I just viewed Andre Drummond breaking CP3's ankles with a behind the back to the point that he fell over flat on his back. Will need to see a vine of that.

Just tuned in to the Spurs blowout to see Leonard fake a 3, go left, spin right and completely lose Hayward, and hit the elbow J. Then on the next sequence he jumps a passing lane and gets to the line. Starting to enjoy watching him more than every other forward in the game save for maybe Blake. Probably won't watch much more but they still put on a show in blowouts.

Magic blew out the Nets. Andrew Nicholson is so good in the post, he's our best post up player for sure. Probably one of the best in the league TBH, and now he's a good three point shooter. He's just such a solid player, and though he wasn't getting playing time last year, most Magic fans understood he could be that type of player. He's a RFA this offseason, and securing himself for a 10+mill/yr contract. I'm so happy for him.

Spurs will probably have a better SRS than Golden State after tonight. Let that sink in. Top organization in sports history.

Amazed at how well Kawhi is shooting from 3

I don't know if I would say history , just from not knowing enough of the history in different sports.(but i know you know your history) but easily the last 20 years.. I guess that long stretch of what they've built is something that may not be seen again, in terms of FO/coaching/star player stability, team success, etc...

Props to the Clips on that comeback. I thought they got the short end of some calls, especiallly Blake.

Clips have found their identity, go up big, give it up late, and squeak out wins and losses. Not the mark of a contender and its all thanks to the Rivers family.

In terms of how difficult it is to be great in the current NBA, and how long they have maintained, they are very far up there. I also take into account salary caps (don't exist in baseball for the most part) and city. It's a lesser sample size than some, but they impress me more than any other franchise ever has. Very few clubs can constantly compete at such a high level without massive salary and/or "super team" advantages.

and then they doubled him a ton in the 2nd half AS USUAL and because nobody else on the team is worth a **** he has no chance.... But this type of thing doesnt matter to most people :pity:

Legit watched him dominate only for him to get the ball in the 2nd half and get swallowed up by defenders... He passes out to wide open people and BRICK/BRICK/BRICK/BRICK/BRICK. This team needs to give him help badly

that JJ 3 to tie to force OT was nasty

Forced the bigman to an uncomfortable position that predictably led to a bad shot/foul. Its like when my man thinks hes blowing by me, when in reality hes only going where I want him to go.

Told my girl to get off the phone and appreciate this, she stopped watching thinking it was over (didnt help that I gave up hope). When we get married, our rings will read "**** Austin Rivers"

Anyone catch the Pacers-Raps game? Looking at +/- for that is interesting, looks like they went small but then trampled the Raps with a big lineup. I see Hill went off.

I don't know if there will ever a be a team I dislike more than the clippers, but they played a good game tonight.

Glad to see how far my pistons have come nearly winning 4 in a row at home.

That's definitely true... They have amazing scouting abilities and development skills. And most of all, they're patient with their approach. Not looking to hit HR's in FA all the time.

Guy who covers the Jazz (David Locke) wrote this.

• The Spurs defense this year has been historically great. It has been even better in the 1st quarter and 1st half. They held the Hawks to 25 points last week. They did the same to the Jazz tonight. When the Spurs won the championship the awesome part of their offense was that every pass was made assuming the player would be there without any hesitation and it made the Spurs faster than everyone else. They are doing the same thing on the defensive end now. There guys move anticipating the next pass and are always a step ahead of the offense. The know their assignments. They understand where the ball is likely to go. They cover that and know that their teammates will cover everything else.

• I seriously wonder if they have done some mastermind study that tells them where passes go from spots on the floor with the stats vu cameras and have adjusted defensively in a way that no one else in the league has done. It doesn’t make a lot of sense that this team is that great defensively and they are not just great they are on the verge of being the best defensive team since the 3 point play was instituted in the game. It is incredible.

Interesting theory on the stats vu cameras angle, but idk if that's the case. The level they are playing probably isn't sustainable, but I hope the drop off isn't too big.

I thought you guys would be better but i am impressed especially considering the fact that your back court isn't shooting it well

You thought we would be better than 14 - 12 having the worst part of our schedule already done?

Dang. This team could win 50 games. I'm fine with Reggie shooting 44%. That number seems to be trending upward. Lol @ all the hate he got during the offseason. KCP on the other hand I don't think will ever be efficient offensively.

What I'm about to ask isn't a slight at your team kdspurman (then again why should it be, to this point the Spurs are far away the 2nd best team in the NBA)....but about your last sentence; don't you think it has a bit to do with location? It isn't like LA (not recently, but yeah), Miami, etc.....where they've had the location and winning factor going for them. Hitting HR's in free agency isn't necessarily something they would've been able to do even 2-3 years ago. They can now though, because this generation of NBA stars finally got it through their heads that they don't need big markets to score big, it's all about THEIR marketability. I mean, LMA chose San Antonio over a couple of teams. David West took a huge pay cut to play for the Spurs. And the Spurs always do what they can keep THEIR guys around.

Also, the Spurs seem to look for THEIR type of player; someone who's going to buy into Pop's team concept, regardless of talent. It's that type of continuity that's gotten them to this point, and over a very long stretch of time too. Miami's the next closest franchise to it I think, but even Pat Riley's always looking to score big and it can leave him very vulnerable if he fails (see last year after LBJ bolted).

Yea, totally the location plays a part. It's not a sexy location.. We got lucky that LMA had family ties to Texas, otherwise that probably doesn't happen. And if he doesn't come, West likely doesn't either. So there's some luck involved.

Pop tends to go after guys who will fit first. They tend to value personality and what not over talent/skill. So they likely wouldn't go after some of these marquis guys anyway. I think it was just emphasizing Tre's point even more to how it's impressive what they've been doing this long despite not being able to attract FA's.

But yea, Pat is definitely a wizard when it comes to bringing FA's over. The city certainly helps, but he's got some recruiting skills for sure
