Was just telling digs and others that Kobe is good to steal a few games this year and i got **** on because no way he can do that... Look at him so far tonight... he will have a few of these games as the season goes on and help get them a few more wins.

The Magic finally have a 0.500 record. Their defense has been very good when they're motivated. Top 10 in defensive efficiency. That's what I hoped for this season. The problem is they're bottom 10 in offensive efficiency, as I expected them to be.

If you're watching the NYK vs Cavs game, LeBron just put on an amazing 4th quarter show. Locked Melo down and hit clutch shots all the way through.

Not watching the game, but he just sat out two games for rest, and is 6 for 12 with 6 turnovers and the Lakers are down.

Is this his new epic?

They looked better with him out, which is what I told you.

Okafor 3-18, bad night for him. Adams did a great job covering him.. BTW, Westbrook has 16 rebounds. Think about that.. Triple double again. I'm 100% confident if KD was out, he'd have at least 30 triple doubles in a season.

Okafor 3 for 18. Boy does that kid have an early green light in his career.

Bron is "quietly" having a good start. I know Knicks fans hate us right now... they've outplayed us for like 6 quarters in the two losses we gave them so far.

Probably pretty close. He'd also probably have bad percentages and a ton of turnovers, like his last 3x2 run. He is a beast though, fun to watch. 17 boards is wild.

Nice save on a broken play by Z-Bo to get the 1 point buzzer beater win.

And yeah that Nets/Dubs game could get ugly tomorrow. They did just beat the Rockets handily IN Houston though. How'd the Rox let that happen?

Don't be so sure of that now that they have Chalmers. That 50 point win of yalls against them could've easily been a 50 point loss had Chalmers been trade to Memphis beforehand.

Was hoping the Pacers, Raptors, Cavs, and Bulls would lose tonight to help us continue to climb up the standings but it was too much to ask for lol. Oh well at least we're tied with Atlanta in the loss column now. We're quietly the 2nd best team in the East from the way it looks right now and literally get better each game. I have a feeling well smack the Cavs at home at Dec. 5 but that's the way it's been since LeBron left. We win at home and vice versa.

I know it's early in the season but the Rockets, Grizzlies, and Clippers all seem to have taken a huge step back from last year. I also haven't been too impressed with the Spurs either. This could be the easiest trip to the finals for a west team in awhile.

I know I'm blowing this thread up but I also want to say this draft class looks like the best since 03 easily so far. Kidd said he thinks Mudiay will be better than him, you hear nothing but good things about Kristaps and Dirk comparisons, Winslow and Johnson look like the second coming of Kawhi and Jimmy Butler but possibly even better because of their young age and that's not to even mention KAT and Okafor. Byron Scott needs to be fired so the Lakers can develop Russell who I also think has very high potential. He's killing his confidence and doesn't play him in the 4th at all.

Tuned in for the end of the Rockets. Man, I thought their backcourt would be terrible defensively but seeing it in action is hilarious vs. a slashing team.

Harden can't say in front of anyone and still floats around, he is just a bad defender and there is no way around it. Hunting for steals doesn't make you "average." I've seen him screw up a rotation, leave a 3 point shooter wide open (for a miss though), foul a 3 point shooter (no call though because NBA star benefits, just side out on another player), and get taken off the dribble by Will Barton - a fine player but he's no Westbrook. Lawson has not been any better.

I think the Rockets are going to have to stagger the minutes better for Harden/Lawson. There was a good reason Ginobili/Parker had staggered minutes over the years and I think this backcourt is due for the same dose.

I've watched every Spurs game, they are dominant. Best D so far, elite point differential, a post game that few teams can defend, and they have sat Duncan for most 4th quarters (much to my chagrin, I watch Spurs games mainly for him). In fact, most of their players play low minutes because they are so winning so easily and their 2nd unit is so effective. Every team will have serious problems beating them.

SA has been great defensively, it's understandable the offense will take time to click. Though the bench looks great offensively. They've got great balance, and once the starters start clicking, they'll be even better. Either way, theyre in solid shape all things considered.

Idk what's up with the Grizz. I think the Clips will turn it around eventually. lots of teams made moves. It'll take time for the chemistry to kick in. Houston will likely pull together too, we've seen teams start slow and finish fast and vice versa.

Barely 10 games in, it's really tough to gauge where any team is that has made off season moves . Just look at Cleveland last year, and Miami their first year.

We've seemed to taken a play out of the Spurs book with how we've distributed minutes and rested people in the 4th although it's frustrating as you said because I like to watch Wade as much as possible and it kills his per game averages since the 4th is usually his best quarter.

I should've rephrased myself and said haven't been too impressed with the offense although I can say Kawhi has times where he seems like he's taken the next step offensively. I would like to see him knock down those easy go ahead buckets in the 4th against the Wizards towards the end but as he gets better, shots like that in big moments will become almost automatic.

Your first paragraph is identical to the situation in Miami right now lol. Our bench has been great and now we'll get Green back Tuesday. The Starters are getting there game by game and the talent is definitely there we just need to get it to click and we will with time. If yall haven't had the chance to watch Tyler Johnson you should he's a very exciting player off the bench and the reason why we traded Mario. Fast high flying point guard who can literally do everything.

Ha, you know how it is then. & like you guys, as long as the elite defense is there, it will continue to keep you in games most nights even when the O is struggling. I mean we're all still ~10 games in, guys are still a little rusty and what not.

What was Spo's favorite saying a couple years ago? Stay the course or something like that? lol.. I'm sure you heard it all too much. But that's pretty much where teams with new guys are at this point

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on with the Rockets. They'll figure it out eventually (or they won't, I don't know). I have a hard time believing that Morey won't try something in December when a lot of guys can be traded. It's kind of nice that a few other top tier teams haven't looked that great, either, though but time is ticking.

Those Dirk and kristaps comparisons just need to stop.. The only reason people are saying that is because he's white, tall, from overseas and has range.

Let's see what he does in the after a couple seasons & in the playoffs before people start clamming the next Dirk..

Also let's see how efficient he is in his 18th season. That's just a slap in Dirk face comparing the two right now.

**** me, Humphries turned into Ray Allen tonight and hit 5 threes. It was close though, like every loss for the Magic so far. Both Beal and Oladipo were out, and John Wall was just making shots at the end of the game. The Magic were terrible from 3 again. These are the times I want Hezonja on the floor more. He shot 2/4, and doesn't hesitate to shoot the three. Fournier has another good game with 17/6/6. He's been great for us. The Magic forum (what's left) know how much I liked this kid since we traded for him. I've been a fan since his rookie year, but Skiles needs to rest him more often. I don't want to see him get inured.

they kinda returned the favor... at the end of the 3rd quarter the warriors inbounded with like 2.4 seconds to go. they should have just held the ball and not turned it over to give jack a free one. if its your posession with that little time- you make sure at very least you get the final posession

Am I wrong? Spurs' two loses are playoff teams. Spurs haven't beaten a playoff team yet.

They play what the schedule says to play. And we don't know who is a playoff team yet. Teams from last year might not make it this year and vice versa.

Doesn't change the fact that they're an elite defensive team with the 2nd best MOV.

Bucks took it to us. Exciting game though. Hats off to them.

Yeah my Bucks should of won that in regulation. But we don't box out and you guys got multiple second chance reloads for another shot at shooting threes which you guys made then. But this was our first time we got our legit starting 5 back as in MCW, Middleton, Giannis, Parker, Monroe. Also was first time Parker and MCW were in game playing together. Last year we had Knight when Parker was healthy. Then trade deadline Parker was injured when we receive MCW.

Bucks just need Mayo back for more scoring punch off of the bench. I think he's back versus Wizards or the next Cavs game. Also was good to see Bayless lock down King James and held him scoreless last 3:17 seconds. Also first time this season we tried twin towers of Monroe and Henson for a little bit. I think reason that happened was cause Giannis picked up a couple quick early fouls. Also had a Henson/Plumlee front line for a little bit as well.

Spurs defensive stats are skewed. Spurs haven't beat a playoff team yet. They have been beating up on scrubs.

Cleveland got screwed by J.R. Smith. This guy sucks so bad that I think Dion might be better... Can't believe Nets were that close. Didn't watch that game but wow, bigger shocker than Rousey vs Holms.

Valid question of whether the Rockets are a playoff team this year. 14 of the 16 playoff teams last year were in their spot after the first 10 games. Worth mentioning. Especially considering this team is 100%.

I gotta think they'll figure it out. They seem to underestimate the weaker teams. The problem is, everyone knows this, yet they still play lackadaisical.

They are not, however, 100% (you should know what 100% is). No DMo all year, Bev is hurt again and already missed a few, as has T Jones. Dwight isn't playing both games of a back to back and Harrell just went down. Ariza tweaked something this game (not sure what it is or if it's serious) and Decker has some lingering back issues.

But regardless, with the exception of the Thunder and Clippers games, they've looked like garbage. Brewer's been non existent, Lawson hasn't fit in yet and Harden seems off to start the year. It's not how you start, it's how you finish. Then again, I don't think it'll matter, but we'll see.

Kobe going for the triple double against the Pistons.

Pistons have definitely been overhyped. They had a good start but have completely fallen off since then.

are people really hyping the Pistons? I like Van Gundy and some gus on the team but haven't seen anyone predict 50 wins or anything

Curious if an 0-10 start to the 2015/16 was part of Hinkie's master plan when the team started this process like 3 years ago.

Regarding the Warriors being 100%, they missed over 100 games from their frontcourt alone last year between Bogut, Ezeli and D Lee. They just figured out different ways to play and actually improved in the process of doing so. This year Bogut's already missed half the games and Klay's been playing with a bad back and now is out. Almost cost us with Barbosa out recently as well. They also don't have their head coach. Not as picture-perfect health wise as you might want to imagine.

But you're right, the Rox aren't either. I should say, they have their core in tact and are as healthy as they can reasonably ever expect to be, and look terrible. They're 4-6 but the margin of victory is like -8. The Lawson/Harden fit was expected to be bad defensively, but it's also been bad offensively. Might just be kinks to figure out, but it might also be cause for concern. It doesn't take much slipping to find yourself in a situation where you can miss the playoffs in the West. Some years a 48-34 record isn't enough to get in.

For what it's worth they do have a pretty cake schedule until Christmas and should be well over .500 at that point.

Hopefully they'll figure it out. I'm not sure exactly why they're playing this bad (it can't all be Lawson and I know it's not all on the injuries). We'll see.

And I wasn't being a jerk about the 100% healthy thing, but relatively speaking, the Warriors had a pretty healthy year last year.
