Wiggins man. Did not impress me with Canada over the summer and nothing has changed to start this year. Horrendous 3pt shooter.

Whiteside has 4 blocks but the scoring officials have him with 2....so dumb

Gotta admit, youve been right about his return to form thus far.

Since we're admitting things, I gotta say I was glad to see Rose look like his MVP self last night. No doubt the NBA is better when he's heathy and playing well.

It's not like Wade is just dominating the league. Klay and Harden have just had terrible starts.

I would expect a fresh Wade to have a really good first half of the season, its the second half he is going to have to prove he can hold up.

Assuming this is sustainable. I definitely think we'll be better than people thought but our shooting has been lights out. I highly doubt Harkless, Aminu and even Lillard continue to shoot 42%+ from 3 (and McCollum (46%+) (although Leonard will shoot better than 14%).

Glad to see us competitive though don't get me wrong. But it's a long season.

He's actually a decent 3 point shooter now so that's helped him a lot and in terms of his physical shape he looks great and actually looks faster and can jump higher and previous years.

Never said he was dominating he league but he's playing really good so far. I'd say it gets better from here since game by game the team is getting more familiar with each other. He outplayed Harden by a mile head to head.

You're right. I think he can do it though. He looks different this year than he has in previous years. He said he feels 29 or 30 again after a lot of the things he switched up in his offseason routine.

We'll see just how real Wade's new shooting prowess is, because that's a big reason for his early season success (I'm going to guess he doesn't keep up 50% from three and ~85% from the line). To be fair, I don't think many discount Wade's ability when he's at full strength or close to it (which he is right now), it's just that so many don't trust him to stay that way for more than a couple months before the nagging injuries start piling and his overall play becomes inconsistent. He's still a top 5 SG overall, and top 3 when he's like this, but ultimately most of us unfortunately don't trust him to keep it up.

I'll root for him though. I like Wade a lot (my favorite player in the game to watch when he was at his peak) and the game is better when he's playing like this.

Wade's taking 2 3PA per game. That's exactly how many he should take considering he has never been a great or even good three point shooter. His FT% is high but players tend to develop a better FT% the older they age. Wade's probably a top 3 SG right now but I still think Harden will catch up and be the best SG.

Yea I would say so as well. If he misses his first 2 don't shoot anymore during the game unless he's wide open. Harden may catch up due to more consistent play for the full season depending on how Wades health holds up but as I mentioned he looks a lot slimmer and better than he has in awhile. Wade can definitely still hold his own or outplay him head to head when needed though. He's already showed that.

Yea I'm hoping this is the year all the injuries end. Riley challenged Wade at the end of last season to come back this year and erase the narrative of him always being hurt. As of right now he looks great but as you said it's still early. I agree the game is better with him playing like this and definitely a lot better for Heat fans lol.

I think I speak for everyone but the only reason Wade gets disrespected lately is strictly due to his health. When somewhat healthy, there is no doubt Wade can be a top 3 SG but when he's playing like he's hobbled/sits out games, there is zero evidence that points to him being an elite SG.

Harden will never catch Wade

Harden is trash

He's ruining the future of the game with how he plays

Without free throws he's a league player

Bad on D , poor fg% , stupid shots , lots of turnovers in clutch moments

I agree about Wade, Rose gets disrespect for the same reason.

Harden the #1 SG though? I think that's unlikely.

Lol? Harden is still the best SG. Slow start doesn't change that. BTW, don't ever put Rose in the same sentence as Wade... Wade has hunger in him while Rose seems intimidated by challenges.

Agreed. People get carried away with these small sample sizes.

I know a lot of people have issues with Rose but to say he's intimidated by challenges is laughable. Look at where he grew up, to get from there to being an MVP? Look at him now, he's not a great player but he's out there playing regardless. After the cumulative injuries that could have ended the career of weaker players (and has done in the past). Sorry but if Rose doesn't have hunger I don't know who does. He's been through as much if not more turmoil than any player his age and he's still came out of it as a starting guard for one of the most recognisable sport franchises in the world.
