Not that big of a deal in Texas, it would be a huge deal in Chicago. It's a big deal for the NBA.

Word is that he was going to visit Kobe. :smoking::rimshot: jk

Who said Dwight couldn't shoot? :smoking::rimshot: jk AGAIN.

In all seriousness, he's lucky that he was here in Houston. Disappointing that he still doesn't get the little things off the court. SMH

Oh well.

These things are complete non issues in my book. Not the best position to put yourself in certainly, but these type of things seem like more oversights as opposed to idiotic reckless behavior. I'm not a gun person however I'd imagine it's fairly easy to forget you packed it for a rode trip and forgot to unpack it on a flight.

If you're that careless that you simply forget about the whereabouts of your gun, you probably shouldn't have a gun.

This is freaking hilarious. Forgetting what you did with a gun is just idiotic and further proof Howard has the mind of a child.

It's actually easy to not think about your gun if you are carrying. I have almost walked into a school with one a few times, but then I remembered to put it up.

Again I don't own a gun, but I've forgotten many important things. Whether or not having a slip up makes Howard worthy of carrying doesn't make it malicious or IMO idiotic. To my knowledge this is his first time with something like this. He's traveled 100's of times and had again to my knowledge one slip up. I don't think that makes him grossly irresponsible.

I've travelled with guns before, it's not really that big of a deal, just the press making it some huge thing.

There's a difference between traveling with a declared weapon in a lockbox checked in baggage, and having one in your carryon. That 2nd one is a HUGE deal. They don't know if that was intentional or not.

It is not a HUGE deal. When was the last time a gun was used on a domestic flight? When you have liquid containers larger than 3.5 ounces they are theoretically even more deadly than a firearm ... but all they do is say you can't take them on the plane. Same same.

Religious nut jobs always make the best stories:
"I know that the NBA is just a way for me to tell people about God ó you know that he is real," said Dwight Howard, an Evangelical Christian. "My purpose in life, my goal for the NBA is to preach Godís word."

And they say black people can't get away with ****. It's not about colour it's about what class you're in and he is high class.
