Basically runs the 2nd unit (SG, but more like the PG & Patty acts as the 2) turnovers come with the territory with Manu, but he still has a knack for getting guys open looks and shoots a decent % from 3. Not a bad deal at all for what he does in limited minutes

Important player on their team still and on a good deal, love watching Manu play.

Spurs have to be the favorites this year

I just looked over his career stats a couple days.

I must say he was one of the most underrated players of his era. Obviously everyone knew he was good, but he was more than just good. He definitely got overshadowed a bit by Duncan and Parker

Ginobili for three--BANG! Key for Spura' revenge against Heat. I hope he has a better season.

it's such a small amount I don't think the 2 years is even a bad thing. I think it was important given the new faces the spurs have brought in, to keep Timmy, Tony, and Manu for the sake of consistency with the team's culture as the torch is passed to the new breed.

He played the sixth man role to perfection. He was definitely one of the top tier sg of his day which is saying a lot.

That always happens when you come off the bench. People say, "well he's going against bench players" or "he's not even good enough to start" both of which are patently untrue.
