@WojYahooNBA: The Pistons will send the Suns a 2020 second-round draft pick. So yes, the Suns are clearing salary cap space.

@WojYahooNBA: The Suns have cleared $20M in salary cap space, allowing them to potentially sign LaMarcus Aldridge without the need for a sign-and-trade.

Interesting. I kind of want the Suns to get him. It's time for them to shine.

Well at least the Suns didn't pony up the farm to Detroit like Sac did with Philly and Hinkie.

I feel like the Suns do this often then get shafted with high priced FAs. I hope it works for them but I feel like ive seen this before

If they get LMA, I will be excited, OKC, N.o Pelicans and Suns will be better and hopefully that puts Dallas into the lottery(Celtics have dallas' first round pick).

Out of both trades, there's one player I would want on my roster and it's Marcus Morris.

Thanks for pulling another rotation player out of thin air SVG.

Yep, wouldn't be surprised to hear LMA to Phoenix soon...but as a Piston fan I love this trade!

@WojYahooNBA: Suns need to get off Markieff Morris/PJ Tucker in sign-and-trades or dumps to get closer to space needed for Chandler and Aldridge.

@WojYahooNBA: Suns have no assurance that Aldridge will sign, but the fact that he's suddenly so intrigued has motivated them to push hard.

@WojYahooNBA: LaMarcus Aldridge is considering the possibility of taking a visit or two in free agency, sources tell Yahoo. No decision is imminent.

Surprised the twins weren't shipped together

Lakers, Knicks, Celtics, Mavs have no pull, no one wants to play for them. All going to have to do long term rebuilds.
If Aldridge goes to Phoenix, Jordan, Harris, Kanter, Matthews are all the real difference makers, to varying degrees, that are left. It's really Jordan/Matthews, considering Harris/Kanter are restricted.

$20M in capspace now for Suns for Aldridge. Curious if this was already contingent on Aldridge signing? Then again I suppose Suns wanna get rid of the twins now since they got into trouble.

Aren't they both facing assault charges? Probably best for them to split IMO....

True lol no team would want both of them.

Philly might have taken both. I mean they have the Cap space, and both are from Philly, so they might have gladly accepted it to go back home. But we will never know now.

You just don't clear 20mil in space for the heck of it. Suns got someone 100%. Aldridge to Phoenix. I'm calling it. My sources

I would love it if he ended up there.

I thought the Morris twins took a pay cut to play together. It sucks that they was separated.

I've been wondering when they would get moved all off-season for this very reason.

It happens. Teams clear space to make an offer then get rejected then move on to the next FA target.

Wonder if the Cavs and Suns will eventually talk since the suns could clear 11 mill off there books quick like with a trade to the Cavs.
