I would crack up if deandre left now.

Makes sense for him to return.

He'll probably never see that third year, because it's an option...but even if he does, $3.5M two full seasons from now will essentially be like working for free.

Good pick up, great price.

Good signing. Especially since he's being paid so little

Turned down more money in Washington. Good stuff. Still have to re sign DJ.

Minimum will be like 2.5 now. So great price. 3rd year won't play as Man said. probably retired.

He had a better shot going deep with Washington than he does with the Clips. Must really love Doc and really want to be back home.

Good pickup. A year to late though.

perfect signing for the Clippers, clutch and a good scorer with consistent jumper... something they severely missed against Houston.

DJ definitely sticking around. With Pierce there I wonder if Clips try to get him and Allen to reconcile and play together one last time?

Thank you again Paul. You made the Wizards a better team. Pierce maybe gone, but EC look out for OPJR!

3rd year TEAM option. Great deal!

Irrelevant signing if DJ bolts

Has to help him come back. Also, I don't think PP would sign this early if he and the Clippers felt DJ was going to leave. But if he does leave, yes, it is pretty irrelevant.

yeah ... i mean on its face it is a good signing but unless you get DJ back it is meaningless... Have you seen the Centers that are left out there lol

There are none lol. Clips would end up being stuck re signing and starting Baby at the 5, ha

Just wait, in a couple weeks he'll say something bad about the Wizards. Just like everywhere he leaves.

Yeah clippers couldn't sign a big because they zero cap space to do so

Thought I saw Doc was interested in Kendrick Perkins. That'd be dope, right? :)

huge for LAC, it's crazy that we're saying that about a 37 year old player

Pierce's longevity as a productive player is seriously impressive, he really benefitted from getting a polished offensive game that didnt rely on athleticism.

He's going to look real solid for them next year.

If Doc is smart he will seriously manage his minutes so he's good to go for the playoffs

Great signing but this might have been the most obvious signing of the off-season among players who change teams. I've been counting Paul as a part of the Clippers roster for almost a month now lol.

why? pierce is not taking them to the promise land and is only declining. good thing they got him on the "cheap".

That would bring me back to the Olowakandi/Closs era!

A late "screw you" to Stern for vetoing the trade.
