"I knew it was going to be a challenge. We just didnít have any room to work last year. We knew that we were going to have to make big changes with the limitations that we had, being in a locked-in situation as far as the salary cap goes. Thatís why when I said recently that I didnít know why I wasnít given some votes for executive of the year, I wasnít kidding. I was really serious."

Besides not getting a tad more in the Chandler trade, I have yet to have any qualms with Phil.

Lol ok Phil...yes it's a tough spot that he's in, but no you don't get executive of the year votes for a season/roster like that.

Phil and Mitch were passing notes at the last GM conference and promised that they'd vote for each other for GM of the year. Mitch finished with one vote. Phil held up his end of the deal, Mitch didn't.

I am happy he unloaded Felton. I am happy he unloaded JR Smith. Tbh this offseason is going to make or break our next 5 years. A top 5 pick and almost $30 mil. Anybody who has made their mind up on Phil the GM is too premature.

He was great getting the best out of all time top 10 players. No surprise it can't be translated to a building from scratch GM.

How about the JR and Shump trades?

I know they flopped in the finals, but are we actually going to use all of these acquired trade exceptions? Think about it, the Cavs are looking to trade their 1st round pick now. You mean to say we couldn't get pick when they were 19-20?

Can't really judge fill til I see the Roster he builds.

We Know melo will be Healthy.

THJR is in his 3rd year so and this should be the year we see who is gonna be.
Galloway was really promising
Early never showed anything because of injury, But I still believe in the new age James Posey theory.

We just need to acquire players with SKILL and DEFENSE
Hey, 1 out of 2 aint bad.

Nope, just a logical adult that understands Jackson can not rebuild a team in one season.

PJ's just being sarcastic. Some people are so quick to react.
