Back in 2009, the knicks really wanted curry and curry really wanted to be there. Instead, he got drafted 1 pick too soon and the knicks just decided to draft jordan hill instead of demar derozan, who they never worked out.

My question is, could they have moved up and traded ahead for curry? he was putting up huge numbers in college as a junior nearly 30 ppg.

It was very possible. It's likely it would be a 3 team trade and the Warriors would end up with one of the top free agents during that offseason.

Who cares? Really they would of traded him anyway, they don't have patience for injuries

I'm sure they could have, it was only 1 spot and it wasn't even a top 5 pick so I can't imagine it would have cost them an arm and a leg.

They shouldve done it instead of focusing on building by free agency with cap space in the 2010 draft, which ultimately backfired. They wouldve had a piece for the future, but dolan messed it up.

No, because it didn't happen.
