View Full Version : Should the Knicks go After Kevin Love instead of Aldridge?

06-05-2015, 12:16 AM
Kevin Love is a HOF and Aldridge is not. Since he's obviously going to leave via free agency ( says peple in this ofrum) should he go to the knicks and help Melo win a ring?

Yes. Rumor is Kevin Love is so excited to leave the Cavs who got into the finals to go to New York and play for the worst team in league with Mudiay.

I can see at least 8 teams having a better chance of signing him...and he probably opt in and wait until next years cap jump for FA.

Lol at Love being a HOF. He gets hurt too frequently and put up good numbers as the lone star on a bad Minny team year in year out. Aldridge is such a better PF to build around because he plays more often than Love.

Your first joke was" love is a HOF", then you came with the "help melo win a ring" looool

Definitely made my night.

Yes. Love is a bit younger and is going to be the better player overall.

06-05-2015, 02:37 AM
Yeah, and they should draft Trey Lyles with the 4th pick.

2 HOF's, top 5 pick, very underrated PG; that might do it........

LMAO trolls are in full effect today

If their careers ended today LMA would get more votes for the HOF. He at least holds several Blazer records and led his team to the playoffs.

Kevin Love has played like 2 playoff games his whole career.

C'mon now.

K-Love is a HOF. Help Melo win a ring.

Keep trollin, trollin, trollin, trollin.

Lol what a random troll thread.

what makes love a hof and aldridge not? what has love done that aldirdge hasn't? love has played in a total 4 playoff games.

06-05-2015, 03:17 PM
I didnt even know my Knicks had those options lol

06-05-2015, 03:42 PM
You know the offseason is about to start when Friedtofuz starts making Knick threads...lol

considering Love felt pressured and had ill-will at the Minneapolis media, no. He would need a jet the size of Air Force One to carry enough kleenex for all his tears if he played in that market.

lol, its off season. op is back to his offseason job. Trollin Knicks. I think Kevin Love should go to toronto and help...oh god lol... help derozan and ...Lmao, Lowry, win a ring.

06-05-2015, 09:53 PM
seriously, K love is David Lee to me. alittle better yeh

06-06-2015, 12:34 AM
The Knicks would be better off trading Melo and completely rebuilding.

If Melo stays, then Paul Millsap is a better fit than either Love or LMA. LMA and Love both need a lot of touches and neither will have that with Melo.

06-06-2015, 01:01 AM
Lol. The main forum hurting someones heart just because a few knick fans want K-love lol. Way to generalize the whole fan base. If the knicks is so irrelevant then be the bigger man and move the **** on

To answer the question, from a skillset standpoint he fits well with the triangle. However he is a defensive liability and with Melo in your lineup we are going to have a hard time getting past the first round.

I personally think Kevin love will have the bigger career than Aldridge. Kevin Love is younger and has had multiple all-star seasons and a 30/30 game. At that speed, he just needs to continue being an all-star and with a ring or two, he'd be a lock for the HOF. I do think He can help melo but the KNicks would need some strong defenders to round out their team. If the knicks got Deandre Jordan to accompany Melo and Love in the front court, I dont see why that cant work. Also, I was never trolling, stop derailing my thread.
