I just came across this report. If true I wonder who it could be. Maybe they're just talking about Thibodeau but that's kind of becoming expected. Any guesses? I'm sorta hoping it's Spoelstra but I highly doubt it lol. My guess would be possibly Dwane Casey.

I'm gonna say McHale, Carlisle, or Ballmer steps in and fires Doc Rivers but still keeps him to be the GM

You gonna stand by this if you're right like when you said Curry would be great or are you going to forget about it and ignore when others bring it up like you have when people remind you that you said Curry can't get it done in the playoffs?

Brett Brown. Lionel hollins. Derrick Fisher or spolestra. Any of those would be out of nowhere

Byron Scott, Lakers trade the #2 for Thibs.

...2nd part kidding, first part serious.

It won't be Rick, Cuban and Donnie said Rick is their Jerry slone and can stay for as long as he wants.

Ricks the second best active coach, no way they let him go

If Balmer has any semblance of a brain he would do the opposite if he felt the need to make a change :laugh2:

Cavs fires Blatt and introduces Bron as the HC?

Cal827

Yeah, I'm gonna guess Fisher. Thibs is definitely the type of coach they need in New York, especially considering that the team's focus is Carmelo, who is known for his dominant offense, but terrible defense. They might try and do what the Mavs did with Dirk (who's similar to Anthony).

Chicago probably wont fire thibs until all coaching positions are filled

I think it will not be that surprising a firing, and it will likely be a team that is in talks with Thibs.

Best guess, the Lakers. But who knows... maybe the Clippers.

A Dwayne Casey firing, though not out of the realm of possibilities, would be stupid. The only reason you'd fire that guy is for getting too many wins out of a $#!T team.

The Raptors had no business having home court advantage when you look at their roster. But they did. That sets up high expectation, but the fact of the matter is, the Wiz were the better team, regardless of what the record says.

This would be change for change's sake. Like when they fired Lenny Wilkens. That dude had more injuries than any other team in the history of the league and pulled out 20+ wins with guys who were, on some nights, not even in the league before suiting up. That roster, when you consider the fact that one a given night they might be suiting up 3 or 4 guys that hadn't been with the organization more than a week, won FAR more games than this year's Knicks, T-Wolves, Lakers and Sixers, and had a far worse record.

Besides, what coach in their right mind is going to want to coach in Toronto?

If the Raptors fire Casey, they are just going to plummet next season.

The Pacers just gave Frank Vogel an extension, and he's running the draft workouts. I doubt he's going anywhere.

I hope it's Mchale. I know he got the Rockets to the WCF, but I think his system is holding the team back.

It might be, but the fact that they beat the Clippers, who were the better team, with an injury laden roster, and not only won, but DOMINATED the Clippers are getting blown out in games 3 and 4. WOW!

McHale earned another season.

This is better than "Breaking News"

It can't be Dwayne Casey, cuz that sht is expected.

My top 3 are

Kevin McHale
Doc Rivers
Byron Scott

Apparently this was strictly guess work. A 'couple days' have come and gone, and so have a couple more. No unexpected firings.
