Kerr vs Blatt. I think this is kinda amazing/impressive.

It's interesting also that the one with the MVP, 2 all-nba players, and 2 all-defensive players is considered a great coach while Blatt with 1 all-nba player is considered a weight holding his team back.

Harsh.

Jokes aside,Blatt is a great coach. I understand that you didn't follow him back in Europe, but he was awesome then(top 3 coach in Europe,no doubt) and he was famous to get the better from scrubs/role players.
Lebron is a jolly to reach the Finals, but man, what can you say about Shump and Smith?Did you think that they could be so great as role players in the playoffs?

I wonder if that would have been the case had he played in the West. I guess we'll never know.

I'm glad for Blatt. He's had a really thankless job. When they lose it's because of him an when they win it's in spite of him. Reminds me of how they did Spo.

All things considered he's done a pretty great job on the fly making the pieces fit as best he could. Glad he gets a Finals appearance on the resume, not bad for your first year!

What are you talking about? The Cavs coach just finished coaching Miami to four straight finals appearances and already had a finals appearance with the Cavs in the past.

LBJ should really get COY consideration ;-)

That doesn't count. Everyone was a rookie!

LeBron James is the Cavs coach. No, this is not a joke.

It isn't. Not even a little bit. I was watching the highlights of that game where they put a mic on him, and he was calling out defensive rotations, and telling players where to fall back. Coupled with the fact that he's calling the plays as well.... wow! Just: WOW!

I actually have a lot more respect for him now. I've been harsh on him in the past because I while I know he makes TEAMS better, I don't think there is evidence that he makes PLAYERS better. But hearing that game where he's mic'd up and seeing what he's doing to get the team ahead, I got to say, that dude knows the game and knows where every player needs to be on the court. Such amazing court vision.

I'm honestly of the opinion that he should have been in the running for coach of the year. And that is not a 'jk' or 'lol'.
