BREAKING: Kyle Korver is OUT for the remainder of the playoffs with ankle injury.

The All-Star took x-rays following the game which showed no sign of a broken bone in his right leg, but it was eventually discovered that Korver suffered a severe high right ankle sprain when Cleveland’s Matthew Dellavedova rolled into him while chasing down a loose ball:

You can see where he sprained it in the second link.

Just making the inevitable sweep easier for the Cavs.

Just making the inevitable sweep easier for the Cavs.

As poor as Kyle Korver has played in this post season, not having his spacing will make it so much easier for the Cavs defense to rip into Atlanta. While he is out there, you have to have someone on him at all times. That will obviously change with Bazemore out there.

Yeah, I think that Atlanta is pretty much done, but I don't think Korver's injury would have an impact :laugh2:

Doesn't matter, Korver was shut down by the Cavs. Sucks for him because he's such a utility player but yeah... wouldn't change the result.

Man, could they use Sefolosha right now.

Doesn't make not even a little bit of a difference

Rest Kyrie, sweep the Hawks, hope the Rockets drag the WCF, rest 10 days, beat the Warriors, go crazy Cleveland you deserve it.

Man, could they use Sefolosha right now.

Lol? He was never a good defender vs LeBron. Against two guards, he was ideal. He's way too small for a SF. LeBron exposed him many times when he played with the Thunder.

That doesn't mean a lot because it is regular season but he dominated the playoffs in those matchups as well. Not only that, but putting Thabo out there is an offensive liability with the way he has played in the playoffs and in the regular season lately.

Korver lost interest in the season when he didn't get his 50/50/90 season :)

Atlanta has no chance either way. Just like the Bulls. Lebron is the eastern Conference. Next

Suspend that guy for his dirty play against Korver!

He sucked balls this series anyway. "Blazemore" has been more effective
